Waffle for One

This is a very nifty way to make a quick waffle for one person. You can take a slice of your favorite bread, butter it on one or both sides, put it in the babycakes and lock it. Three minutes later you have a totally awesome waffle - no batter, no forethought - delicious with syrup, jam or chocolate syrup. It takes a couple minutes to heat up before you can use it, but really it is 5 minutes to a great waffle and nothing to clean up, no mess. This is the waffle equivalent of the one-cup Keurig. I use it a lot more than any waffle iron I have ever owned.

I love this little thing and I use it almost exclusively when making breakfast for my daughter. I haven't used my regular waffle iron in months as this one is so much faster. It is also easier to prepare only what is needed. During the week, I usually fix 8 sticks for my daughter (equivalent to about 2 Eggo waffles) and more on the weekend for the whole family to enjoy. I am buying one for my sister also.

I have had bariatric surgery, so it's hard for me to justify making waffles in a regular waffle iron. This thing is perfect, because this way the portions are already smaller!

Its going to be a little harder to clean than expected, but cute and easy. I will only use it once in a while. If you make a lot of waffles, you need something a little different.
