In the announcement comes as a plan of $ 29 dollars, when you arrive you have to send the code to a central unlock and it does not meet the deadline, or send no email. Bought 2 to communicate as my wife on the trip. Money thrown out, because neither one worked. I have an integer, and the other one I tried to use without success.

The card itself and the service plan it offers is great and deserves 5 stars (this is probably the 4th or 5th time I have purchased one. I live overseas but come back to the US to visit friends and family and this is a great way to have unlimited calls in the US and still be able to contact France) but I have removed 2 stars for the fact that the product description does not warn you that you cannot immediately activate the SIM card with this vendor. They company that sold mine this time (I have not had this problem in the past) only has activation between 11am and 7pm CST if you activate online and noon and 6pm if you call the phone number to activate. Also, for some strange reason they taped over the SIM card in the larger card holder, so it was difficult to get out (and sticky!) and as a result, it broke into the mini size (and I need the standard size). I was able to get it to fit back in, but for my needs, this is less than ideal, because I do need to be switching out this temporary SIM for my French SIM to check my messages while I'm travelling.
But if you live abroad and need a phone while in the US, this is a great deal.

I received a purple card with a sticker on the back that says:

"This sim card is not ready to use yet. To activate & add money visit us at ..."

However, I cannot activate the card without giving payment info. I didn't add my info. Sounds fishy to me for something that is pre-loaded.
