These are good slim hangers
M. S.✓ Verified Purchase•December 15, 2017
These are good slim hangers. I bought two over the past year. You want to be sure that the cables you intend to plug in don't take up more than 1/2". I had to get a right angle optical connector for one of my TVs to keep things flush.
A few things could be better. For one, the instructions only tell you how to mount a VESA 100,200 and 400 as far as the distance between the mounting plates on the wall. One of my TVs was a 300, it still worked but I had to figure out the difference on my own, it wouldn't be that hard for them to document it.
The other thing is that it can be tricky to figure out vertical placement. They could again provide some guidance in the documentation, I imagine, for example with VESA 400 they should know how high the TV will hang off the wall plates so you know how high to install them on the walls. Without any guidance I just installed the cable on ththe back of the tv and tried to estimate how it would hang before installing the wall mounts.
Overall I'm very happy with the way these turned out and how flush and easy it is to install and remove the TV from the wall. It's also easy to flip up the kick stands and access cables by tilting.

Very nice articulating arm for wall mount flat panel
marcus38✓ Verified Purchase•May 6, 2017
I ordered this arm to mount an LG 24LJ4840-WU in our newly remodeled kitchen area. As the flat panel is white, this wall mount attracted me as it is white and was stated to close to 1.8-inches of the wall surface. Over all, the arm was very easy to mount but, I did have to modify slightly. As the flat panel is small, and uses the Vesta 75mm x 75mm mounting pattern, the lower ear of the Vesta plate obscured the RF cable input jack. I had to cut a piece of the metal ear away so as to make the jack accessible. A little white touch up paint and you would think it came from the factory this way, so, not a big deal. However, while I understand that these days, HDMI is the preferred and primary method to connect a flat panel to a digital signal source, in my area, to do so, requires an additional clunky digital cable box...not something I want cluttering up my kitchen counter. So, for this application, the RF cable jack was mandatory. It would seem to me, knowing that the RF jacks are still used in applications, the designers of this articulating arm would have taken that into account and made provision to make it accessible for the smaller size flat panels that it advertises this item to work with. Other than that, the mount is very secure, very well made, and is exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend this to any one who is looking for a wall mount that has the ability to allow the display to be position at any angle. I am confident that with a larger display, requiring the Vesta mounting configuration of 100mm x 100mm or greater, the problem I encountered would not have been an issue.
Nice mount, doesn't fit LG 24" TV
AbbyKay✓ Verified Purchase•April 5, 2017
Bought this for a clean install on a white LG 24LJ4840-WU 24" TV. "The other" white mount offered by Amazon had a review saying it didn't fit that person's LG TV, but I was hopeful that this one would. But it did not. The 4 outer "wings" detach, leaving the small plate you see in the picture. Unfortunately, the 75mm holes and the TV design are such that the bracket prevents you from plugging in the HDMI cord. Normally, I would modify the plate to allow access, but the HDMI cord goes right where the main swivel bracket attaches to the plate. So, no modification possible. I had to return this one and get a smaller, black mount. I don't think it will show that much, but I'm disappointed. This bracket is beefy and appears to be well-made. I only gave it 3 stars because it wouldn't work with my TV.
Perfect Mount for Low Profile, Slim-line Installation
David B✓ Verified Purchase•April 4, 2017
This was a great purchase. I have some TV installation experience but I feel that any novice would be able to handle this. I was able to do it without any assistance at all. I have to admit, I was somewhat apprehensive about using a "wire" to hang my 46" Samsung. But after installing it, I have no doubt at all that it is securely fastened to the wall. I am also very impressed with the fact the installation does very minor cosmetic damage to the wall behind the TV. It only take 2 holes. In fact, I hung mine a little too low and needed to raise it 6" after I was finished. The holes that remained are still well hidden but I will have no problem filling them (when and if I move the TV) with basic putty and paint. The kick stands provide plenty of clearance to make your connections after its hung. I will be using this again if I ever hang another TV.
they are easily strong enough to support a 60" Samsung LCD TV ...

I'm a big fan of these mounts, I have bought 3 of them in all. One is mounted with big drywall screws I bought from Home Depot, and the other two are screwed with the included masonry screws. On a drywall, they are easily strong enough to support a 60" Samsung LCD TV (your mileage may vary, be careful!). On masonry, I think you could probably hang off them yourself, they are so strong.
They work really well with a thin TV, like the Samsung 8000 series - they sit flush against the wall, even when looking at it from the side. Obviously you get no pan and tilt, but you can adjust the TV so it sits horizontal.
Anyhow they are easy to install and look great, and at this price they come recommended!
