I was excited to receive this for an upcoming summer road trip. After test fitting my Motorola Turbo2 phone in the sprung mount. And then finding a suitable location for the suction mount in the car. The phone mount broke when re-installing my cell phone into the sprung holder in the car.

I will be requesting a refund for this flawed product.

The tablet mount is too big for my phone and the phone mount is too small for my phone. The plastic phone holder broke when I tried to secure the phone. I don't recommend this product. Everything is great and heavy duty up until the place where it holds your device. This is my second phone mount I tried to order and it doesn't work. I have a ZTE Zmax pro, it's a large phone. I didn't feel like replacing my phone case to make it work. I was so frustrated that I broke it more, so I can't send it back unfortunately. I'm sure it would work great for an iphone or samsung that isn't large.

This is the most versatile Phone and GPS mount I have used. It works great in my Toyota Sequoia, Lexus RX350, and BMW Z4. Although all 3 cars are very different, the versatility of this mount is great. It even works great in my boat. The only car I can imagine this not working for is one which has an extremely sloped windshield where the distance from the windshield to the edge of the dash is too great. In my case, the mount securely suctions to the windshield and the circular "rest" sits nicely on the dash. It allows me to put the Phone/GPS within an easy reach while driving and I can orient the phone/GPS either portrait or landscape. The design allows you to bend the arm to match various windshield and dash configurations.

The suction cup is also made of a very "sticky feeling" type of rubber so it really grips when you lock it down to the windshield. I like it much better that other suction cup mounts I have used.

One side benefit is that both the phone and tablet clips will also work with a standard Garmin mount "ball". Since I already have a Garmin mount in one of my cars, I can just unscrew the phone clip, pop it off of this mount, pop it onto the Garmin mount, and tighten down the mount screw. This just adds to the versatility. I also have a Garmin Bean Bag mount, so I can use the phone or tablet clips with that if I ever rent a car where the included long "bar" mount might not work.

I got this for my father as a Christmas gift. He absolutely loves it. He uses it in his big truck and his sports car and even on his 4 wheeler when he goes deep in the hunting ground. The suction cup holds very well and the arm holds up to the height of a heavy phone in a heavy duty case. The product arrived on time with no hassle.

This is one of the better dash mounts I've ever bought. Build quality is solid. But it has some big advantages over normal, shorter dash mounts. First about the phone/tablet clamps. They're open ended on both ends, so they're NOT brand specific. I use a large Android phone and it fits fine. Although unlike other dash mounts, which use a release button type system, these clamps are spring loaded. The upside is it holds the phone very firmly. The downside is, it takes 2 hands to get the phone in or out of the clamp. But once it's in, its in. I have yet to test the tablet clamp. I don't drive with a tablet, interesting option though. About the mount arm. It's 13 1/2 inches long and bendable. Which is AWESOME . I use the little support stand, and it keeps the entire setup very steady while driving. The greatness of this length of mount arm is not only does it put the phone closer to you... which is great for when using navigation. But one of the biggest problems I've had in the past is my phone overheating by being up in the front window. But with the phone mounted slightly out from the cars dash, not only is it not as close to the heat source (the windshield) but i can also angle one of my AC vents to blow on the back of the phone. I use a CPU temp widget and watched the temp drop from 105f to 90f within a couple minutes. So summer navigation use is no longer an issue! I may have finally found the last dash mount I'll need.
