I could not be happier! I have double sliding doors in my living room that gets beat by the hot hot Texas sun in the afternoons and evenings. It would be 7-8 degrees hotter than what the thermostat was on and was almost unbearable to allow my kids to sit in play as I watched them. I had to make several seams in the film because I needed it longer than it was wide, but even with 3 seams on each door's window, it looks great and you can barely see the seams! I waited 2 days to cut off the excess film so make sure it wouldn't slip or move when I trimmed it with the blade. I used an almost empty windex bottle to mix the water and dish soap. and make sure you pull your hair back as you apply it because I had to pull off, pull off strands of hair and then reapply. lol

If you have an attention for detail you should not have any problems. This was the first time for me to use and it has turned out great. I put this on the garage door windows and our side storm door windows. We like the storm door open for the natural light. The door faces west so the evening sun would burn through it heating up the room. This has made a big difference in radiant heat and glare. During the day you are not seeing into the house, at all. And it makes it harder to see in at night, too.

Tip: When you use the tape to separate the film keep pulling even if it doesn't separate from the very tip of the corner. The backing will pull away, just keep pulling. I was stuck on my first piece when I tried to pull the backing off and the very tips didn't separate. I was very disappointed thinking it would never come apart. When I just kept pulling it worked, every time. And use lots of soapy water and squeegee real good. It takes a few days for the water bubbles to dry out.

This product looks great and gives you a lot of privacy while blocking out a lot of heat from the sun, and while letting in a decent amount of light and you still get a great view of the outside. Even at night you still get privacy unless someone is right outside of the window. I am thrilled. I was able to do 7 22x23 and 2 22x15 and 1 28x23 windows with this roll. I love it and will purchase more to finish the rest of the windows in my apartment. My apartment is staying a lot cooler during the summer already. Comes with everything you need except tape, a rag, soap and water/ cleaner in a spray bottle and clean windows.

First, I read a lot of reviews saying the tint has a mirror effect at night. Which is true, but it clearly says it is in the description. The product itself came perfectly in the box, instructions are easy and clear and if you follow them directly you will have no issues at all. The tape to separate the film and liner can be a bit tricky but just be careful. Make sure you DO spray the window AND adhesive side before installing, it will make your life a lot easier! After you first place it on the wall, wrap a piece of paper towel around the squeegee and slowly get the air bubbles and water out and also use the squeegee to cut the excess off the edges. You honestly can't tell it's there during day. Also, your room will be darker and with more privacy because during the day you can't see from the outside looking in. BUT at night it's the opposite, so just put your blinds down. I wanted to test this on my bedroom windows before anything else because I wanted tint that keeps my house cooler, darker, privacy, and I can still see out during the day and this does exactly that. I can honestly say my bedroom was minimum 10 degrees cooler than any other room in the house. I will definitely be buying more and this is by far the best bang for your buck for buying window tint.

Oh my goodness! I love this window film. I home school my 11 year old granddaughter. As a science project we made a bird feeder. We hung it in front of the windows where her school desk is. When she sat at her desk it scared the birds away from the feeder. I ordered a roll of this window film and put it on the windows in front of her desk. Now the birds come to the feeder all the time. My granddaughter loves being able to sit in front of the windows and watch the birds eat and play. When she sits at her desk she is no more than a foot and a half away from the birds. They don't see her so the don't fly away. It's great! It really helps cut down on the bright sun light, and even makes the house cooler. There was a web site listed on the side of the package where I found a tutorial video on this window film, and how to use it.It was really helpful because the written instructions weren't very clear. I just placed an order for another roll because I want to put this window film on a lot more windows.I recommend this product if your windows are way too sunny. It does a fantastic job and the house is so much more comfortable.
