The type of tube and shower I have was designed to not need caulk, however, we had a problem of leaks that would cause water to run down through the kitchen ceiling when you tried to clean the tub. I tried regular caulk, but the gap was too large and the caulk would not hold and run out. My next option would be to replace the tub and shower unit when I saw this product. I figured it was cheap enough so I would try it. Thank goodness I did. This stuff is amazing and saved me hundreds of dollars! I Love it and will continue to buy it.
