I use this almond meal / flour for smoothies and I add it to protein shakes. I am mostly a vegetarian, and during the past couple years I have tried to eat more raw food. This almond meal / flour is exactly what I was hoping it would be. They use the entire almond, so I receive all the nutritional benefits of eating whole almonds. The size of the individual pieces is perfect. It is not a powder, like one brand I ordered first. It is more of a finely ground meal. I am guessing it can be used as almond flour if that is what you are looking for. This brand is also very fairly priced, and the only ingredient is almonds.
