Well-made but should have tempered glass

I'll pay more attention to the description next time - the glass is not tempered, and I found this out the hard way. My grandson was placing his favorite crystals in the box, and was doing this on the floor. When he stood up he got distracted, and stepped right through the glass in the case - long dagger-like glass shards were mixed with his crystals, but, miraculously, he wasn't cut. Well-made and attractive, but please be aware and treat this more delicately than we did.

Fantastic, exactly as described, and affordable. Came safely no issue. The wood cuts are very straight and clean. It appears u can stain the color of your choice or just leave it natural. It's big enough to fit 2 large firearms with rooms left. can be used to display other things as u see fit. I was on the fence like u too but glad I went with it.

Great little wooden case for anyone who has anything of value they'd like displayed with a little flair but doesn't want to pay that much! The plain wood grain is fine with me, but could be refinished to match your dresser or shelf you keep it on with little effort. Very glad it came with the velvet mat included because I'm lazy and didn't want to cut or try to match deminsions for one. All in all for the price, it's an excellent buy.

This box is great to actually keep a pinned insect collection in. This box is a lot cheaper than those boxes marketed for pinning and looks just as good. My only recommendation is to replace the liner with some foam.
