Just what we need for BBQ season
Lil Magill•May 28, 2018
We are very pleased with this product. It is exactly as advertised, well made and reasonably priced. The seller is very attentive. The link for the free BBQ recipes did not work for me. I contacted Fresher Products Inc and they immediately emailed the recipes to me. Great service after the sale!

The Nobody•May 16, 2018
The strands on this mop are thick. Yes, they're three strands braided and they can be unbraided, if you have the patience for that which I don't, or at least I didn't to unbraid more than half the mop braids. Though upon doing so, it began (as I imagined it would) to leave some threads here and there time to time depending on the aggressiveness of the mopping action (so-to-speak). No, I didn't try mopping a floor with it. Build quality appears to be all there (for a grill mop), but between the thick braids and not so absorbent threading that makes up those braids, I had to give it a three star rating.
So suggestions to the manufacturer:
1. Decrease the diameter/thickness of each braid/strand
2. Find a different thread/material (of the mop head) to something a little more absorbent (it seems to nearly repel liquid).

The GrillHogs are well designed and carefully made. Before the first use and after every subsequent use, I washed them in hot, soapy water and rinsed them in vinegar. Always let thoroughly dry before storing away for the next use.
Does a great job and easy to clean

I wish I'd had gotten one of these years ago. This is easy to use, does precisely what it's supposed to do, then when finished cooking I just unscrew the mop from the handle and throw it into the dishwasher. I usually hang it afterwards to assure it dries fully, then it's ready to go the next time I need it.
Giving it 3 star its ok. Used to the old style round mop head with shorter strings
GBear•August 26, 2017
Giving a it's ok. I have a mop purchased at Walmart for $10. Has shorter handle but mop is thicker and rounder. Tried this one while smoking a roast. On Oklahoma Joe Highland Offset smoker, this handle was 1 foot to long. Mop part is to long and not enough strings when compared to short rounder models. Able to slop on more product with shorter more thread type. Nice mop for show and tell. Also, when using, the metal hanger has irritating rattle while using mop. Used to the old style round mop head with shorter strings. I cook on an Oklahoma Joe Highland and Traeger Pellet Lil Tex. Both have front selves and easy access to the meat. For me, I still use my old 10" long, round mop head purchased many years ago. Tried this new design with the longer strands, but it was the long handle that made things difficult to easily mop the meat. Other problem I ran into is when I had the bowl of sauce on front self, this mop would want to backflip out of the bowl and onto ground. The 10" with shorter rounder head never does that. Its all about preference. Don't get me wrong, this is a strong product but does not work with my setup. Here is a photo of the old model which has lasted many years. After 2 weeks of hunting, I was able to find 4 on eBay of all places. Just could not find the shorter rounder mop heads anywhere. Here is a photo of the older style
