I loved how they filled each room with rainbows. So awesome beautiful. I already ordered t times to fill my east, south & west that had sunshine a lot to my windows. I cut half to fit a bedroom, 2 bathrooms windows & full size on sunroom sliding glass doors. I loved those to fill rainbows inside my house. They were expensive, though. two of them were bending off the center upon received.
I sprayed water to mist the glass area first, then applied carefully to seal them slow to get air bubbles out. I used window squeezer to smooth water & air bubbles out of the film on the glasses.
I had those last December 2016 & still love those today. Never get tired of seeing awesome beautiful rainbows here wi8th sun outside.

makes awesome DIY gifts! I stuck the film to a stiff plastic mentioned by another reviewer (Grafix Clear 0.005 Dura-Lar Film Roll) using soapy water. Then I cut out leaves, stars, etc, and gave them out as presents. Also made myself a mobile or two. Big hit! Even small shapes still pack a lot of rainbow punch.

COOL & BEAUTIFUL!! This is a window film that provides both privacy and color into your home. It is just cool!. Words and photographs do not capture the beauty of the colors that cascade into your home. Very easy to apply and the film adheres to the window very well. Just follow the directions: clean the window, spray the window liberally with a soap and water solution, put the film onto the window and use a squeegee to rub across the film to squeeze the air out b/t the film and the window and tada, it is done! Just wait for the sunlight to pass through the window and enjoy the beautiful display of colors. Also a great way to teach the little ones about white light and rainbows.

Don't cheap out and buy the other brands on amazon. Yes, this stuff is way more expensive than the other rainbow film brands you'll find out there. There is a reason I bought this one, and the performance of it is seriously vastly better than anything else. Just look at the pics. Even a small strip of it throws a lot.

I didn't realize that this holographic film has adhesive on one side for affixing it to the window. I wasn't ready to decide where to put it, so I decided to devise another way of hanging it in the sunny window. I ordered a roll of Grafix Clear 0.005 Dura-Lar Film Roll 40 inches by 12 feet. The 0.005 thickness is very sturdy; the clear film is similar to what libraries use for covering books. I put the holographic material adhesive side up on a table. Then I cut a piece of Dura-Lar about three inches larger on all sides and carefully affixed it to the adhesive side of the holographic film. It's good to avoid getting dust, crumbs and air bubbles between the two layers. I put small nails on both sides of the casement window frame, attached a couple of bulldog clips to the top of the holographic film with the clear plastic back, and hung it from the window. Now beautiful multi-color rainbows visit the living room every sunny day. I find myself wanting to stay home in the afternoons to see it. The rainbows look slightly different every day as the Earth's location changes. I'm glad I didn't stick the panel directly to the window because I like moving it around to different windows as the sun moves or I can take it down, roll it up and store it in a closet on cloudy days or when I want a clear view from the window. I also bought the Axicon Rainbow Window Suncatcher. It comes with an extra suncatcher, approximately five inches in diameter, that has a brightly colored cardboard frame. The extra suncatcher is made of the same kind of holographic film that is used for this Decorative Holographic Prismatic Window Film. If you're a crafter, you could probably make a large number of five inch diameter sun-catchers from one of these sheets of holographic prismatic film. I'd definitely buy this again and I wish I'd known about it years ago.
