This seems like a very good product, I am very happy with the results. I thought being an impregnator sealer it would soak into the travertine that I used, which it did. After the second coat it left a very nice satin sheen on the stone. Could not be more pleased.

I have been installing natural stone tile for a number of years on the floor, walls, showers, backsplashes (kitchen and bath) as well as other locations and hunted for a sealant that really took care of the softer materials like travertine. I recently laid over 3000 square feet of tile in our new home and I wanted to make sure that the tile in the baths and showers was sealed well to repel the soap spots as well as the water. I put three coats of this sealant on each of the three showers (about 900 square feet total) and let it sit over night for the best possible penetration. We then started using the showers and the product works extremely well -- the water beads up and keeping them clean is a snap since nothing is penetrating the pores of the tile. I know a lot of people talk about the water based sealants as being equal to the solvent based, but after years of trying all different types I find the solvent based sealants penetrate the best if you apply them when the tile is new and last far longer than the water based. My opinion only!

I brushed it on my flagstone courtyard. It took 2 gal. & 1/2 qt., penetrating and sealing without changing the color. Water now beads up rather than soaking in. Great product.
