I have 2012 Honda Pilot touring. These do not fit the factory installed rails. I think you'll need about 50in. in order for it to fit. Will be returning them ASAP and will order another set somewhere else. I can comment on the how it holds since I couldn't put them on but from the looks of it, it's not too bad.

Installed on my 2014 Jeep Patriot in minutes. Instructions were rather simple but that was because it was so easy to get on my roof! Comes with two keys and an allen tool to tighten. Seems fairly standard, while not as low profile as top line products, it is a great item for the money.

I was skeptical because of the price and some of the reviews, but decided to purchase it anyway. I used it with my 2016 subaru crosstrek to help me move cross country from NJ to California. I put a soft top cargo bag on top with most of my clothes. It held tight and did not bend or get loose. I checked it every time I stopped for a restroom break. No issues! The price was worth it and I will use it for my paddleboard and other trips.

We had a trip planned involving the transportation of two bicycles, three people and all their stuff for a long weekend. I was perplexed as to how to transport everything so I purchased these to mount to my existing factory rails on our Taurus X. I used this product as well as these "bike mounts" https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P6EQ22K/?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . It worked great for our purposes. As one of the other reviewers mentioned, I had to remove the end cap from one end of the bar to fit our rails that were right at 46" apart. No big deal, pop it out, install the clamps and rail and put it back in. I was impressed with how well the clamp fit the contour of the factory rail. It looked a lot better and was not any more expensive that the "homemade" option I was considering. I only carried the bikes on the cross bars and that worked well. I have had Thule and Yakima racks in the past and this is not at their level but I got the crossbars and two bike mounts for about $140 and it did the job fine. I was pleased with the overall quality and look of this product. I stopped and tightened everything after the first hour of driving in stop and go traffic and it was good to go for the rest of our 500 mile round trip of interstate and mountain road driving. At this point, a week after the trip, Amazon's tracker still has the bike mounts out for delivery...If they are ever "delivered" I will review them as well.

Fits perfectly on my Chevy Captiva 2014. This is very easy to install (having a second person does help, but is not really necessary). I have found that after every Kayak trip I do need to slightly tighten the clamping system. This may lessen with time.
