I installed two set of these on a 2009 Ford Escape for my Kayaks. I looked at several different ones, and as usual, my wallet dictates the purchase. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these because I had a Thule set on my Lexus Rx350 and these where quite comparable at a fraction of the cost. I really liked the fold flat feature when not in use, and that these do not hum when in use. Very happy with them, and highly recommend them to anyone considering these. They set up in 10 minutes and no problems.
