So it's a great product however we have a big double sunroof on a escape and the cargo rack is low to the roof the mounting bolts are too long when I installed with the weight of two kayaks the bolts would of shattered the glass overall a extra 5.00 for stainless nuts and bolts no biggie great product works amazing I drove 13 hours and never even worried and drove 80-85 mph the whole way it's a great deal

For my 2019 Ford Explorer I had to order the cross bars because, apparently, they don't come standard from the factory. But once I had them on the roof, it took me about 30 minutes to mount these kayak racks to them. They work good. I really like the padding on them where the plastic of the kayak contacts. Best of all, it's simple to fold them down when I'm not going to use them for a while.

I am a little under 5'6" and had to use a step stool to install this on top of my "˜22 Sportage. It was not difficult at all and I was all done and tightened down in about 20 minutes total. Once I actually haul the kayaks on it, I will add more to the review.
