I waited to write the review for this pan until I had used it for a while. Now I've had it for 3 months and it is still like brand new. It is completely non-stick. I have a glass top cooktop. I couldn't boil water in that pan at 50% heat. I have been using the pan on a burner that is 8 out of 10 temperature. It has not scorched or bubbled or been damaged in any way. Maybe the test for people when they get this pan is to see what setting on their stove would allow water to boil. That would give them a good idea of what the pan can withstand. I also have found no need to use soap or abrasives on this pan and I wouldn't recommend it. Just wet washcloth in running water will wash off anything from the inside or the outside of the pan. I would recommend this frying pan to anybody. It is more expensive than a pan that I would buy at Walmart, but is sure to last far longer. Three months of daily use has still left me with a brand new pan!

TeChef makes the best fry pans. We have a few of them and only replace other brand pans with TeChef when they can't be used no more. We follow the proper use for their products and they last a long long time. We have absolutely no issues with them and highly recommend them to everyone who is sick and tired of replacing pans and burning up meals.

I am very happy with this frying pan. I use it nearly every day for eggs, and the coating is as effective as the day I bought it (over a year ago). No scratching, flaking or decrease in nonstick ability like many pans I've tried in the past. I came to write this review after washing dishes just now and noticing how well the pan has held up.

I read review after review before choosing this non-stick pan. I couldn't be happier with my choice! We'd been using the same non-stick skillet for 13 years and it finally gave out on us.
I made my poor husband wait and wait while I searched for the perfect replacement since the one we'd had wasn't made any more. I fortunately ran across a review on another skillet that led me to this one. We've now had it for nearly six months, and we couldn't live without it! So many other skillets were reviewed by people saying that they didn't last a year. I think, with good care, this skillet will last a very long time!
The skillet did arrive with the handle unattached. It was a very simple process, just screwing the handle to the pan, and it was ready to go.
My hubby couldn't be happier. We love the olive color, too!

This is a wonderful piece of cookware! I needed a larger pan so I could cook enough at the same time and my meats would finish cooking at the same time so I was thrilled when I found out I would get to review this 12 inch frying pan.
That the nonstick coating is made without using PFOA was important to me and so was the fact that it contains no cadmium or lead.
This is an easy to handle pan. It does have some weight to it, but that is partly due to the fact that is is several inches bigger than the pans I have been used to using. This pan cooks fabulously! I quit using vegetable oil in my pans quite some time ago. It left a sticky residue that was very hard to remove after it had been heated so I only use real butter. This is how I have cooked in this pan and it cooks great! It cooks very evenly and the large size means everything cooks at the same time and gets done at the same time.
After cooking and letting the pan cool, I wipe it out with a with a paper towel. I then use only hot water and liquid dish soap to wash the pan out. I never use harsh chemical cleaners or rough scrubbers on my pans.
This this pan washes and rinses clean very easily. Almost effortlessly! Once rinsed, I simply wiped with a dry towel and it was a good as new!
I like to really baby my non stick pans and don't let them get nested with other pans at all so they don't get scratched.
I think the only addition that would be very helpful and would have been nice if it had been included, is a lid. One is shown in the photos, but is sold separately. Other than that I have no complaints about this pan. It has performed great and is an easy clean up.
Despite not coming with the lid, I love this pan! It has so far proven to be high quality and think it is going to get lots of usage in our house. I plan to take great care to ensure it lasts a long, long time because it is already a favorite among my cookware!
