Love this!!! My son is two. Took him to Disney and on a plane for the first time. He has a tendency to take off running. Oh what a "fun game"....for him.
This was perfect. It's cute...looks like a cute backpack, so u don't really notice the "leash". Acted like a pillow for him on the plane and gave ME peace of mind!!
It doesn't mean you don't still keep an eye on your child but it frees up ur hands and the constant worry. Disney was great, but PACKED!!!

It took a few wears for my son to get used to it, and I wish the strap was a bit longer (especially for my 6'2" hubby) but it fits my needs and keeps my little bear from wandering too far away. As terrible as this sounds, we have contemplated getting a longer leash from the pet store to attach to the backpack part (which could be easily done) so my husband has an easier time using it. Also, I love that the giraffe has a little pocket, perfect for my keys and debit card so when I'm out and about with my son (while wearing my yoga pants or something else without pockets), I don't have to carry anything and I can focus completely on my son.
It makes me feel better knowing I have him and he is safely connected ...

It's very cute. Haven't had an opportunity to use it yet my but son is 2; about 25 lbs and 33in tall. It's a little loose at its tightest but still works for what I need it to. I'll probably put another metal clip on the leash part just as a Safety precaution cuz they one that comes with it is plastic. We'll probably try it out tomorrow In the store. It makes me feel better knowing I have him and he is safely connected to me. I don't care what people say about it. My baby's not getting snatched up!!

Loved the little Lion backpack. Little one and I went on our first plane trip together at 13months old. He is already a runner and obviously doesn't know the meaning of the word "No!" This worked wonders. He was able to get down and burn off some energy while waiting for the planes. Everyone around thought he was just so cute and loved interacting with him. I felt no judgement whatsoever for having him on a "leash." If anything, I was given praise for thinking ahead and allowing him to explore. I just wish they made ones with retractable "leashes" so he could go a little farther. I guess you could add that yourself.

We purchased this harness and the frog harness for our twins and love them. Note that they are really not a backpack - they have a little tuck in pouch that you could maybe fit a pacifier into. But as a harness they are perfect and the twins want to put them in because they like the animals. Win win to have something that the twins love and mama loves as they can't run off in different directions!
