Best flour combination for pasta

I recently got a pasta rolling machine, so I went hunting for the best flour for homemade pasta at the same time. I'd read many different reviews and lots of pasta-making instructions online. I am so glad I bought this 2-pack, which includes equal amounts of "00" very finely-ground flour, and semola/semolina flour intended for pasta. My linguine came out perfect, using old-style recipe of 50/50 of each type of flour. I will definitely be buying this again. It arrived in great shape, and I'm glad they offered this combo pack of flour especially for a beginner like me.

First time I've used Italian flour, so my bar might be low, but compared to all purpose American flour, this stuff is far superior. The texture is crazy soft and fine. It made perfect pasta. Pricey, but I don't think I will go back to regular flour again.

These come in a package together. One expires in June and the other in October of this year. That doesn't give you too much time 5 months to use one of them. Just seems like they would at least try to make them closer and later since they are sold in a set. Nothing against the product itself

This two-pack combo includes one bag of "00" fine flour and one of semola flour, both from Italy. These two are typically used to make pasta dough. While you can almost always use all-purpose flour instead of these, they add a nice touch of Italy when making pasta dough and pasta.
