This was very easy to do even with a 5 year old helping. She loved the craft and our owl came out really cute. Everything was nice and level annd I can reuse the mold. We also had a bu ch of the glass leftover.

This is wrapped and ready to be given as a gift. It was delivered on time and so far in good condition. Have not opened it. As a product review I did notice its a very small stepping stone. They seemed to have made them smaller since I was a kid. I believe I had made a butterfly maybe 10-12 inches and they gave us 7lbs of cement. No complaints on the seller and I am sure this will be fun anyway.

We had a blast making this item as a family. The directions were easy to follow. There were plenty of mosaic pcs for us. I kept the stone indoors curing a bit longer than a week and have had no issues with it falling apart.

As described. The glass that came with the kit was roughly as shown & nice. I elected to add in some of my own glass (yellows, pinks & oranges) to liven it up a bit - see my photo. The bulk of the darks, greens & Browns came with the kit. One odd thing about the kit is that the mold should be level but it's not - see photo This means either you under fill deeper side or overfill shallow side - I chose to over fill shallow side a bit. Caution: adding decorative glass to already full mold might make the cement so overfill that it runs over side. I used paper towel to carefully clean excess. Not a serious problem. See photo showing mold profile. Pre-measured cement handy. TIP: spray mold with Pam cooking spray so stone easy releases from mold and you can reuse mold. Because glass in kit was nice too, this kit for this SMALLER THAN USUAL stepping stone a good value & fun project. Again, I chose to add in some extra glass to liven up colors, but glass provided would have matched advertised.
