Dad loves it. Likes the ability to turn it off. His other one didnt have that feature and both were about the same price.

I bought this for my grandmother as an alternative to the more expensive models. It does the exact same thing; it amplifies sound! Keep that in mind when you're buying this or a similar product. The battery usage is fair considering it is working all day long.
P.S. If it doesn't work when you change the battery, flip the battery over. I sound pretty dumb saying this but the battery door is somewhat misleading.

Great Product Which Performs as Advertised

This is an awesome hearing aid for an over the counter product. It performed as advertised and the battery life is very good. The aide is comfortable. The tone button is a little difficult to operate while you are wearing the aide. Also did not realize that the ear piece can un-plug from the wire. I nearly lost the ear peace not realizing that it had fallen off of the wire plug. The NewEAR comes with a nice travel case and cleaning brush. I will use this devise as a hearing aide for hunting. Caution though, if you have the volume up and you place your hand over your ear attempting to adjust the hearing aid volume you are likely to hear a high pitch squeal which I found uncomfortable. Yes I do recommend this product. The squeal issue is not uncommon for even the prescription hearing aides.

I'm happy with this product. However, I would appreciate it if you were more forthcoming about the size batteries the product used. This product requires a larger and more expensive battery than I anticipated. A Kroger clerk helped me find the correct battery and I plan to adapt myself to this hearing aid, but I would prefer not to be surprised. Once in the past I purchased a large quantity by mistake so it's not the first time I have been confused.

This purchase has become a life-changing experience for the recipient, Aunt E., at age 97. One
cannot imagine feeling partially left-out when family members or friends are speaking; not sure
if they're talking to you / about you.
Hearing Aids are expensive, but Audio Amplifiers offer reasonable pricing. NewEAR Digital has
answered Aunt E's prayer's, and mine in choosing the right brand that has put sparkle in her
eyes and smile on her face. She has become part of conversations, instead of being on the
outside of them. The amplifier shape fits with no discomfort at all; having several sizes of ear
buds for better fit, eliminates outside sounds so "hearing" is precise. This makes all the difference
in her being part of her world.
