Lighter flour like this product really is crucial to making a lighter baked good, especially buttermilk biscuits. Local grocery stores stopped carrying this product so I went online to find it. I would definitely buy this again.

I have lived in the South over 50 yrs and had never heard of this brand of flour and one day in reading a recipe it specified the qualities of White Lily flour. I had to order it to see if if offered all the qualities I had read and lo, it does! My biscuits are much lighter and the flavor , texture more acceptable and I love this over what I had been used to and will certainly use this brand from now on!

Want to make the best biscuits on the planet? My mother-in-law always used White Lily flour and the tradition lives on even on the West Coast thanks to Amazon.

The perfect flour for making biscuits. It is, after all, "The Flour of the South"! I prefer the non-self rising. I like to add my own baking powder to insure maximum freshness.
