Excellent build quality!!

The build quality of this faucet is excellent. Care has been taken in the design of the shutoff to match the size of the valve extension. The curved delivery tube is slightly larger than others, nicely curved downward, and has a screen at the end. And the finish of the whole faucet is consistent and evenly brushed. The water flow is nicely regulated so that with the water supply valve completely open it does not knock the glass out of your hand!
I have looked at several others near this price range and NONE of them meet the quality of this one. It costs a few dollars more but well worth it!!

I purchased this in hopes it would coordinate with a Delta ("Trask") faucet that unfortunately didn't have a matching water dispenser. I cannot believe how identical this looks in styling and metal color. Only difference between the two is this is smaller, which you'd expect. It most certainly exceeded my expectations.
It did take a while for my husband to install and find the right sized water line. The first was too small so the water trickled out so annoyingly slowly. He finally got a larger water line and it was far too forceful. Rather than purchasing yet another sized water line, he turned the shutoff valve closed part way. Now it is perfect!
We are not using this with a water filter system. The only (current) reason we have it is that the water line bypasses the water softener. I'm hoping to install a filter system in the future, but because we did a complete kitchen remodel including a quartz countertop, I wanted the hole factory drilled.
It looks perfect AND it works! :)

I made the mistake of buying a slightly cheaper faucet from a home center store (Menards). Installation of that faucet proved impossible.
After failing to get that inferior purchase to stop leaking, I ordered the APEC. What a difference!. Installs easily and does not leak.
If you are looking for a kitchen drinking water faucet, this is the one to get. Great product.
