I needed a personal stash box and this fit the bill. If you need something to roll IN; this isn't it. It is strictly for storing small amounts of stuff and it is fully lined with felt (so botanicals would definitely absorb into the material). There is a weird chemical smell but for some reason I find it pleasant (says a lot about me I suppose).
Beautiful but hard to open.

Can't beat the price for a small trinket box. I purchased this for a dresser trinket box for my husband. I put concert tickets in it. He spent time admiring the outside for a while thinking this beautiful box was his birthday gift... it was but the big gift was the tickets.
Only concern is its really tightly shut... I had to put some mineral oil on the closure part to make it easier to open.
