I've been wearing these for a few days now, and thus far, they are good. I wish there was a half-size down for me to try, but the whole size would definitely be too small. Most of my shoes and boots are sized 12 (UK 11), so that's the US size I ordered. I think the materiel is nylon and synthetic. They won't change to mold to your foot like leather will, but like any other boot, there is a break-in period, after which they should fit your specific foot more exactly. I had to experiment with several lacing styles as there were some pressure points on my feet and ankles, but once I learned how to lace-up ladder style (see pic), those pressure points were alleviated. After reading some of the other reviews I went ahead and sprayed them with some waterproofing that is safe for almost all materials, including nylon and synthetic. The price is definitely a win vs. the leather Docs, and these probably have the advantage of not splitting like leather has the tendency to do after some abuse. These will be my work and general walking boots. Of course the bouncing soles are awesome!

I bought these on a whim as I usually am Leary to buy shoes online as they all fit differently. These fit perfectly and are true to Doc Marten's quality. They are very comfortable and have gotten me through more than one snowy day. The soles are great on ice and don't slip on the ice, which is an added benefit. Since I live in a warmer climate , I like that they are canvas rather than leather as it lets your feet breathe a little. They came with two sets of laces, one the same color as the boots and one bright yellow, which I really love! The yellow makes the bold statement I like, but if you'd rather not bring so much attention to your cool boots the other laces are perfect. They also don't take quite as long to break in. The first day I wore them for six hours without a single problem. Love the quality and you can't beat Amazon Prime for shipping. I see more colors in my future!

I had some Dr. Marten's very similar to these previously, the only difference being that they didn't lace up as high. So I knew what I was getting into. These are very comfortable and very durable. They breathe a little better than leather boots, which I like, and they are nice looking too. Bonus: Mine came with an extra pair of laces.

These boots would be a good deal if they cost $100. They are currently only $50, which is a steal. I'm hoping to be able to order a second pair before they are out of stock or the price goes back up.

You should know that they run just a little big. I usually wear 11.5, sometimes 12. These are a good fit at 11.

I bought these boots pretty much exclusively to wear at concerts since getting stepped on at energetic shows is painful. I usually wear a size 10.5 or 11 while wearing sneakers and these size 11 boots that I bought feels snug enough. They don't look as good as the leather versions but they still look great. I wish the insoles on these were better, I have some cheaper boots that came with some really comfortable memory foam insoles. In terms of comfort they're pretty stiff feeling until you break them in a little. As others have mentioned the soles wear really easily which is its main downside.

just purchased my second pair and were delivered fast,not that I was inpatient .my first pair was over a year ago in black color and I beat the heck out of my combs boots and they can handle it ,they are great boots.this recent purchase was the charcoal color and they are super nice.in the picture they look grey but they are not ,they are charcoal witch is a darker grey I guess but they look super nice I love these boots,they are my boot of choice from now on.very confy and I wear them every day.they fit perfect on me they are true in size.i recommend these boots to anyone. they look real cool with jeans of any color.you will not get a better deal on the price of combs anywhere else so get them here on amazon.best price on combs not kidding.
