I will start off by saying this bag is far from perfect, but there is something about it that I just love. After about a month or so, the stitching came out of one of the leather straps, so I stitched it back, and I haven't had another issue with the stitching anywhere else since. The outside material of the bag feels like good quality material. The zippers are not excellent by any means, but I only store things like medication in the side pockets anyways. The side pockets have a lot of useful space as well, and they're sufficiently deep so you could store a bottle in either pocket. There is a lot of useful space on the inside of the bag and I don't have an issue carrying three books and a notebook, or a laptop and a notebook. It's a versatile bag that I can use for school, hiking, or just travel.

In my eternal search to look cooler than I feel, I wanted a backpack where I could put some patches all over it and have space for them. I found this for a reasonable price and I have to say that I LOVE THIS BACKPACK! It is big enough for small trips to wherever you take small trips to, and has a bunch of pockets built in. It's everything I wanted in a backpack. The only thing that could have made this better is if I found a $100 bill stuck in one of the pockets. Maybe I just haven't fount the right pocket yet...

Looks small on a tall man! But still high quality for the price. The inside has very nice pockets and it looks pretty good. I did order grey and received black but my husband likes it. At first I was like "uhh is this a mini backpack?" but then when you fill it it gets bigger - still on the small side.

I really wanted to like this backpack. It's the right color and looks like it would be tough. I bought it to use as a diaper bag for a trip and then"‹ for the daycare. On the second day I used it, one of the leather pieces on the strap closure fell off. The thread just fell out. I can sew, so I was going to try to repair it myself. Before I got around to it, the back one of the metal snaps"‹ broke in half and now has a very sharp edge. I'm so disappointed. I love everything else about this bag, but if I can't safely open and close it, it's useless to me.

My backpack was a little lighter (both in material and in color) than I was expecting, but it's proving to be durable. I prefer to carry a backpack with my when I go places, and it's three outer pockets prove to be very handy. On the inside, there is a pocket with a zipper pocket and two smaller pockets stacked on each other. The big pocket (of these pockets) has a velcro close, which has its benefits but sometimes doesn't stay closed and the zipper pocket definitely comes in handy. However, the two little pockets was like one pocket sewn into two pockets and the two pockets didn't stay two pockets.
As noted by other reviewers, the "laptop" pocket is pretty small for a laptop, but it's handy for folders or other flat things you don't want to get damaged.
