BATH ROYALE BR620-00 White Premium Round Toilet Seat Slow Close, Replacement Toilet Seat Fits All Toilet Brands including Kohler, Toto and American Standard

Key features
- •BEFORE YOU ORDER, please measure your toilet bowl (see images) to confirm if you need ROUND or ELONGATED size. Bath Royal toilet seats FIT ALL TOILET BRANDS including Crane, Universal Rundle, Eljer, Delta, Bemis, Caroma and Gerber. Also fits toilets with non-standard mounting hole spacings 4.5-6.5 inches. NOTE: NOT compatible with bidets, grab bars or risers that install between the seat and bowl.
- •SLOW CLOSE seat and lid prevent loud slamming, cracked toilets and pinched fingers. Closing too slow? Simply push it closed. Unlike other brands, Bath Royale's soft close can force closed. AKA quiet close or whisper close is ideal for people in a hurry or adults with lower back pain because the user doesn't have to stoop or bend to lower the seat. May help teach boys (and men) to lift and lower the seat...because it's so easy!
- •BETTER, MORE SANITARY and LONGER LASTING than painted wood or vinyl covered foam padded soft seats. Made of 100% pure (not recycled) polypropylene (plastic) which is non-absorbent, chemical and stain resistant. All Bath Royale seats are a solid color throughout, will not chip peel or fade. The beautiful HIGH-GLOSS finish will last for years with proper care and cleaning (avoid abrasives). 2-YEAR WARRANTY is double most other brands.
- •QUICK RELEASE helps keep your bathroom smelling fresh and clean. Simply press a button to detach your seat and thoroughly clean the nasty area between the mounting posts where urine, grime and odor-causing germs collect. NOTE: Do not spray or saturate the mounting bases or hinges. Spray your cloth first, then wipe.
- •STRONGER yet MORE COMFORTABLE. Softer and warmer to touch on sensitive body parts than painted wood, acrylic or other plastics because pure polypropylene is a thermal insulator (like coating on an electrical wire) and does not conduct heat. Tested to 400 pounds, 4 non-slip bumpers evenly distribute weight. The seat and cover will flex, but guaranteed not to crack, break or permanently deform.

This is everything they say it is!

Never thought I would write a review about a toilet seat but here it is. It is awesome! Definitely the best seat I've ever owned. I purchased this because I had a wobbly seat that just wouldn't stay in place no matter how many times I tightened those plastic screws. This one was very easy to install and fits my standard round toilet perfectly. I really is warmer somehow than my other which could get cold due to the air conditioner being on most of the time. I love the slow close lid, the whole seat is very sturdy. Much better than the flimsy feel of my last seat. It pops right off for cleaning and right back on again. Basically, everything that the seller has said it was, it is! There is no hype around it. It's a great seat, doesn't move around, slow close lid, warm to the tush, and you will be very glad you bought this one.
A True 5-Star Seat...

I just bought 3 elongated models and had them installed on top of new Gerber toilets. The plumbers exclaimed how easily they installed and that they thought the 8 page instructions were overkill. I noted they are mechanical professionals, and the instructions are targeted for amateur DIY folks. I previously bought and self-installed a round version of this seat a while back and it was very easy-peasy. The quick-release feature works like a charm. If you follow the installation and maintenance directions, the seat doesn't loosen up after months of heavy usage and start sliding around. The slow-close feature still works perfectly even after many months of heavy usage in our first floor powder room. And several of our users are pretty big people so the strength of the seat has proven to be awesome. It's no wonder this gets a ton of 5 star ratings. Add me to the list.
Very happy and worked just as expected.

Very happy with the product. Very easy to install and works just as I expected. When installing just make sure you line up the seat how you want and tighten the screws the best you can. I had to make a small adjustment because it must have moved when I took the seat off to tighten the screws. It's very easy to pop the seat on and off. It came with both white and stainless steel mounting bracket covers. The documentation says brushed aluminum and other colors are available to order separately if you need to match another color. The top lid needs to be pushed just a little further than expected to get it to soft close but I think that is due to it being less weight so needs a bit more gravity to pull it down but it's nothing exaggerated. Just have to work on the muscle memory a few times. When you unpack it and if you try and see if it will soft close before mounting it, it won't. Once it is installed it'll work as your expecting. Very happy to tap and walk away and not worry about my dogs thinking it's their huge water bowl :).
Soft close for marital harmony

Can't believe I'm writing a review about a toilet seat... anyway, this was to replace a Kohler plastic toilet seat that developed a crack. I guess that's what happens with frequent posterior contact- crack transfers from one place to another. Back to the review.... The seat seems well made, and the soft close feature is really what sold me. I'm a guy and have been accused of not putting down the seat. This is actually a true observation, but the way I see it, the household is 50% of the XY and 50% XX, so the amount of seat raising and lowering is more or less equally split. I know someone will shoot holes in that theory, based on some sort of complex statistical analysis, but I stand by it.
I digress... in order to ensure lasting peace in the house, I splurged on the seat with the soft close feature, which believe it or not, encourages putting the seat down because I don't have to stoop over before AND after to manipulate said device. Strange, but true phenomenon. Other than that, the seat is solid, seems easy to clean, and was easy to install. I will say that it is slightly more concave than the old seat, and it cradles the rump somewhat more than the normal flat-ish or convex wood seat. Not saying that it's bad...just different. It takes a little getting used to.

Nicely designed seat, easy installation

Hard to choose seats among all the choices, so the Amazon Reviewers are pretty helpful (thank you, all.) I wanted a seat that was easy to clean, not wood, acrylic but NOT the thin type that pinches you and feels a bit flimsy. This seat is more than the usual three fins but it's well worth it.
At first, I thought the thing was over-designed. Usually, installing a toilet seat is a matter of two screws, two bushings (to fit in the porcelain back) two nuts and maybe a decorative cover to hide the screw attachment. In this case you get a choice of covers (chrome or white, and the option to order brushed nickel online.) There is a post assembly, two nuts, two bushings and a washer set for each. Installation at first seems complex but it actually didn't take any time at all and the instructions were VERY CLEAR and written in English (not just fuzzy drawings to puzzle out.)
The seat is "quick release', meaning it sits on posts you install with the screws and nuts and cover with the decorative cover. A button on the back of the hinge lets you take the entire thing off for thorough cleaning of the throne. You know how dust and grime seems to accumulate near the seat hinge? Take off the seat and you have full access to wipe the back of the rim behind the bowl.
The seat is slow close and seems to work. I keep the seat closed because I don't like my dogs using the commode as a drinking fountain. The seat drops down slowly and noiselessly.
The seat itself is the new style, dished in rather than convex. Sometimes, these can be uncomfortable if you are a larger person (I'm almost six feet tall so I'm not a dainty little thing.) I shopped carefully for the seat because the cheap ones really feel insecure when you sit and they can pinch you in a sensitive area. This seat, though concave, is sturdy enough to hold a heavier person. But if you have super large people at home, you know, Sumo wrestlers, football players, etc, it may still not be what you want. I found it satisfactory.
