It moves electricity well.

Moving electricity from an outlet to a device is not a complicated affair, so I see no opportunities for trouble with this purchase. I have now used it 3 times and it performed flawlessly. I would highly recommend this extension cord for all of your short distance electricity transmitting needs.
My Very First Outdoor Extension Cord - Choose the 50ft one

Is it odd to think I've never owned an outdoor extension cord until this point in my life? Well it's true. I never put much thought into it until I needed one. What length should I buy? What Gauge? What company? Lots of things to think about. So after doing a ton of research, this was the power cord I went with. Let me give any reader some pointers:
1) Don't buy above 50ft. They are awkward to roll and store. 50ft is the perfect length. Need longer, buy two and daisy chain them. Makes a lot more sense vs. buying a super long one and having to break it out for smaller jobs.
2) But a 14/3 gauge. Yes they make smaller and larger shielded ones, but for average yard work, or unknown usage in the future so to speak 14/3 is the way to go. It falls right in the middle between the overly thick and very thin. Will work for almost all projects for the average home owner and you won't have to think twice.
3) Learn from this post, I've done the research for you. The reviews on this cord are solid, plus when comparing / contrasting against the others, this stood out to be the best for me. I only bought 1 for now, but will be buying another.
Overall, this is my first outdoor extension cord and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Solid product and I'm very happy with my purchase.

16/3 gauge is a good standard for most equipment

There's not much to say about an extension cord. But this one has a few benefits. First is the price...it's right in line with others if not cheaper in some cases. Second is the construction..notably the vinyl material seems a bit softer and and more pliable than others which makes it easier to handle in cold weather. 16/3 gauge is a good standard for most equipment. Third is the green light on the end. Very handy to know that you have power in case something else isn't working at least up to that point. Try being in a crawl space under a house etc... to find out it wasn't plugged in at the receptacle. A good cord for the money.
Works fine, no reason to overpay anymore

Do yourself a favor and buy extension cords online. No reason to pay extra for buying in a store anymore. I used for Christmas lights under a foot of Michigan snow and during freezing temps. Worked great and put away fine after.
Has light indicator for your safety

This is heavy duty and has a light on the socket so you know it is still plug in for safety. Safety feature for me is number one, and this one has thick cables and helpful to show you it is still plug so you are careful. Please click helpful if you find my review helpful.
