Screws too short

Overall quality seems nice - when I went to install it the screws that came with it were too short. I had to purchase longer screws in order to secure it to my door. Would have been nice to have longer screws or two sets - my door isn't anything fancy and seems to be a standard metal door.

This is actually the 2nd milocks keyless entry I've installed. I put one (with the remote and door knob with it) in my rental house replacing the doorknob and everything as it acted up for years, then 2 weeks later, the deadbolt on my own front door wouldn't open (it broke) so I ordered this one to replace it. Very easy to install (especially the 2nd time! lol) and works great. Only tricky part was when I first installed it, the unlock button wanted to lock and vice versa. I called their support line and all I had to do was move the little switch under the battery compartment from 1 to 2. Problem solved! Trickiest part is getting the wires connected and moved out of the way when you put the back plate on - takes a little maneuvering of the plug part around but its doable.

The electronic mechanism kept malfunctioning and would produce a loud long beep causing me to take out the batteries. I couldn't trust that the key pad would work and would always be nervous when locking. I ended up removing and going back to lock and key.

Don't waste your money

Crap. Don't waste your money.
Looks nice, but on day 2 it started a long, continuous beep that wouldn't stop until I removed the batteries.
(And, yes, I tried fresh batteries as their site suggests is usually the problem when the unit doesn't work.)
This randomly happened over the next 6 weeks, then it stopped opening of closing.
Just spend the money on a Schlage and be happy.
