Mine must be defective, because I'm as locked as can be and still looking at my son's lap.

5 stars for ease of installation, size of mirror, and quality of the image produced.
0 stars because I cannot get the mirror to lock in place. The mirror is secured tightly on the headrest, and the locking mechanism is turned as far to the right as is possible. My son is 20 months old and every car ride goes like this:
1. Put baby in carseat
2. Adjust mirror to show baby's face
3. Look at it 10 minutes later, see baby's lap.
4. Swear and mutter underneath my breath.
I went through the Amazon page and see that most people don't have an issue with the locking mechanism, so I must have a defective unit. I have tried everything to get it to stay in place - only semi tightening the locking mechanism on the back, having my husband tighten it so much I can't adjust it at all - and nothing helps.
I don't doubt this is overall a great product, based on the reviews, but the consistency of what is produced and general quality control could use improvement.

Apparently I had a mirror with a faulty locking mechanism originally. After posting my review I got an email from the company that stated they believed the mechanism was faulty and they were sending me a replacement product to see if it worked better. I installed the mirror and could tell right away the swivel felt tighter than my previous one. I waited a few days before reposting this review to make sure it stayed in place after plenty of driving around. Sure enough it has stayed in place beautifully! I was super impressed the family owned company paid attention to my review and cared enough about my satisfaction to make it right. They are very proud of their product performance and rightfully so, it's worth every penny and deserving of every star! If only every company worked this way! Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed and if for some reason you are, they will stand behind their business and make it right!! Nice job Cozy Greens!! Keep up the good work!

I researched mirrors and ended up with this one because of it's excellent reviews. Unfortunately it hasn't been a stellar product for us. I mean, it's a mirror and it does it's job, I can see baby. But it doesn't stay in place. We will get it adjusted to just the right spot but it only takes a little bit of driving to jostle it out of place. Attaches nicely and is a good size, but doesn't stay put.

I thought all of these mirrors were the same, but this one is better than any I've seen. I chose this one because I also wanted the mini mirror. Ironically, I haven't been able to use the little mirror because it's -10 degrees at the moment and nothing will stick to my window. It also came with a visor clip attachment that I can't use because I have extra thick visors. But, as it turns out, I don't need the little mirror. Not only can I see it from my rear view if I sit up a bit, but the big mirror is larger than I thought and has a wide angle view. All I have to do is quickly look in my backseat, as I would with my dogs, and I can see all I need to. Number 1 baby shower gift from now on!!!

The product works as expected. I can't say I've tried many car mirrors but this is a good adjustable mirror, and a good size. It works like an actual mirror not some warped reflective plastic tape that somehow can be called a mirror that I know I have seen (at half the price most of the time but still). And my son has tugged and kicked and grabbed it since as soon as he was able and it still looks new after we wipe off whatever disgusting stuff winds up on the surface. When I bought the first a couple years ago the company reached out with a very personal note - nice touch for a small company. Amazed they can make it for this price and compete with the big brands. I will support that!

Does not fit properly on my car's head rest. Super bummed. I do like how simple the mirror is and it is adjustable but because the headrest on the backside is small, I constantly have to re-adjust this mirror. If you are sitting in the middle at the back seat and your seat belt moves around, you will have to re-adjust as well.

I am adding the first star because after posting up my review, Cozy Greens was very fast to reach out to me and resolve my dilemma. When I wrote my review I did not expect for even a second to be contacted. Let alone be contacted so quickly! I have been a buyer on amazon for many years and Cozy Greens is by far the BEST customer service I have ever experience, bar none! I am also adding another star because I wanted to emphasise the fact that I do like this item and it came with so many cool freebies. I like the mirror so much that even though it cannot fit my head rest properly I STILL use it. The mirror is very easy to install and adjust. I purchased my own last year and at the time it did not come with the cool first-aid kit but I did get a nice cleaning cloth and the ebook. Thank you Cozy Greens!
