I just bought a house with a 13-year old dishwasher that doesn't clean all that well. I bought this to see if a good cleaning would help its performance, but I saw no noticeable difference afterwards. The bottle says that for very dirty dishwashers "multiple applications may be required" which basically means I could go through six of these bottles before seeing a difference. I really can't tell if this works or not, so I'm going with not.

This stuff is amazing! I tried EVERYTHING before purchasing this product to try to unclog my old portable whirpool drain which had funky sitting water and wouldnt fully drain. NOTHING worked until I got one of these babies. Smell was way better after one use. After the second bottle, smell was gone completely, and after the third round bye bye fully to the drain clog!!! Mind you, I had a really really bad clog from lazy non upkeep of the washer and this will now be a regular treatment to keep the washer FRESH and running smoothly. Nothing worse and more dangerously bacterial than rank sitting dishwasher water and this stuff is a miracle! Will be using in the future! Thank you "Dishwasher Magic" for your quality product! This stuff is amazing It cleans, sanitizes and deodorizes your dishwasher. It was recommended to me by a repairman and now I use it regularly. I had a sluggish dishwasher. Wasn't totally draining. Instead of an expensive repair bill, try using this product. Maybe use it 2 or 3 times. It worked for me and I have used it a second time for same issue. They say you should use it monthly to keep things, good and maybe I will. And do not use cheap soap either. It deodorizes things up.

Purchased this product on the great recommendation of some friends. I am somewhat disappointed with the cleaning results. Yes, my dishwasher is 10 years old, but it does not get used often. I ran a full cycle as directed followed by a rinse cycle, but the first try did not remove the hard-water white stains on dishwasher door. A few days later I tried again with the second bottle. I used the heavy duty cycle this time. Better results.

I absolutely LOVE this stuff! We were ready to buy a new dishwasher (despite the fact that the one we have is only a few years old), because it was not washing the dishes...they were worse after the wash finished, this has been going on for weeks and weeks (ugh). Food bits that were not on the dishes when they went in, magically appeared and baked onto the dishes during the wash cycle and we had to rewash by hand. We cleaned out the normal problem areas of the dishwasher to no avail. I put this stuff in the dishwasher last night, ran it empty and washed a load of dishes today...voila the dishes are sparkly again! Before buying a new dishwasher give this a try, we love it and will keep it on hand at all times now!
