I love these cones for crafts and for creating food trees. You can wipe down and keep the shrink wrap on or wrap it in parchment when using it for food. I've created lovely fruit trees and cupcake trees. They hold oversized toothpicks or wooden skews quite firmly, so the fruit or cupcake does not swing about. My suggestion is to angle the skew slightly when using cupcakes so they don't slip off.
