We did not use these for food, we used them to put sand in for our mini sand ceremony at our wedding. They are not cheap looking, and actually hold a good amount of (insert substance here). They are square so it made it easy to pour sand. You could easily use them for disposable shot glasses or mini Hors d'oeuvres.
