Simplicity is the Best Thing About the TOYNA1
I mainly wanted to listen to my MP3s, podcasts, and streaming radio in my car. Using the phone for hands free calling was not a consideration since I an not a heavy phone user. I considered blue tooth technology but read mixed reviews about how the pairing is lost randomly and/or poor sound quality. This device attracted me because it is a very low tech simple electronic part that intercepts the cd input into the radio unit and allows for an aux input using a standard 3.5 mm jack.
The instructions that come with it are poorly written and in my case were completely wrong about leaving the factory cd changer pigtail unplugged since my car does not have factory Navigation. This device would not work if the factory cd changer was left unplugged. It was a bit of trail and error to figure this out but otherwise installation is very easy. The "brainbox" of this device is very small so it is easy to find space for it in your dash. If it will not sit snug I suggest wrapping it with a foam type insulation to prevent rattles when you drive the car.
Sound quality is identical to cd sound quality and it will probably last the life of the car because it is really hard for the manufacturer to screw up such a simple device. What I do not like about it is that the radio constantly displays "CD 1 Track 1 0:00". Years and years of displaying this for thousands of hours could damage the LCD display but if you once in a while play the radio I suppose all should be well. Another thing I really dislike is how the cd changer has to be empty for this thing to work. If you load even one CD the radio behaves as if this thing in not installed in the car. Once the last CD in the changer is ejected you get the "CD 1 Track 1 0:00" on the display and this thing goes to work. They should have designed it to where you can leave CDs in the changer at all times; it would have been perfect.
Pricing is more than reasonable.

We can now hear Google Maps and Internet Radio in the car.

Works as advertised. Husband ordered this for our 2006 Camry so he could plug in his phone and listen to Google Maps Navigation and his streaming music service simultaneously. Audio is great and it works through the CD Changer jack/plug thingie on the back of the car's stock CD AM/FM radio.
His major complaint is the included 3.5mm male to male wire is very cheap and a simple bend or twist was a enough to cause the loss of sound from one side of speakers.
My husband opted to purchase the "iSimple IS335 Dash Mountable Auxiliary Input Adapter" to use instead of the included wire. Makes for a nice install although he had to drill a hole in the dash.
Total install time for him was around an hour.

Go bluetooth, i wish i did.

Works great, everything I start car I have to switch source back to radio and then back to this to reset sound level, this is the only thing that bugs me. DO Yourself a favor, go with the Bluetooth one, I wish I did.
Works great on a 2005 Toyota Prius with navigation/6-CD changer package ...

Works great on a 2005 Toyota Prius with navigation/6-CD changer package and an iPhone SE. Installed myself, took less than 20 minutes. The unit shows up as CD2, and sound quality is better than using an adapter for the cassette deck.
