Great in my civic and s2000
Kyle•February 15, 2018
Great little sub if you need a small one. I actually own two and they are great one in my s2000 and the over in my civic hatchback. Get a rca adapter if your radio doesn't have one. I have a pre out for a sub on the s2000 and it sounded great. It will vibrate the mirrors in that car. It was disappointing in the civic until I added the adapter. Side note for 2002 s2000 owners. You can just cut off the ends of the wire harness that comes with the sub and there are aux connections one the under dashboard fuse box. You just need the right female ends. Please test them to make sure you aren't drawing power of the battery when the car is off. Other you can tap into an used fuse in the car with an fuse adapter. I will try to add links.
good compact sub.

TS-WH500A is a good sub for this size.
some people said this it too weak sub...
but 50W RMS output is acceptable when putting in cars up to subcompact cars. (I put this into 2012 Chevy Spark. KDM)
if you're looking for window breaker, find something else that can output 300W or more.
and one more thing, sub build quality is poor, I replaced my first unit because makes rattle noise inside from speaker when volume is up.
second one comes okay.

This subwoofer is installed in my Honda Jazz/Fit under the driver's seat and I must say it is a beast. It is connected to my Pioneer AVH-x595bt head unit and is able to really push out thumping bass that sends vibrations through my leather seats. I had to in fact reduce the bass speaker output to stop the pounding in my head. Believe me when I say you would not believe what this slim baby can do. I'm a bass guitar player and tend to be more biased towards the lower registers. I managed to really improve the groove in my little hatchback without sacrificing any space in my boot. It does prevent any rear passengers from placing their feet under the driver's seat though.
Don't be naive thinking this would be an earth shattering woofer - a reminder for other absurd "reviews"

Don't be naive thinking this would be an earth shattering woofer. This is a compact underseat woofer for goodness sake. Please ignore those crazy "reviews" bashing this woofer. Know what you are buying before "reviewing". I think my low-cost Sharp home soundbar works better at pumping bass than this.
The short on the bass quality - no difference to my stock speakers, but I must qualify my stock speakers are of good quality and driven by a top-end Pioneer 8870 headunit.
So why did I buy a underseat woofer? Two reasons - (1) I am more than satisfied with my sound setup, but (like almost anyone) my stock speakers are on the doors, and while they are more than adequate to deliver the bass I want (the speakers won't crackle), they rattle the doors when pumping bass, and anyone will know the doors are full of moving parts and can never be taped down totally. (2) I do not want to waste space for a woofer enclosure, the box woofer fits perfectly under the seat and is out of sight, I'm not gonna to cramp the car with electronics and leave the car as next to useless for its intended purpose.
Why did I buy this particular woofer? Two reasons - (1) Unorthodox technology and Looks cool. (2) It's thinner than other underseat woofers. My car seats are electrically powered and have little vertical space. this woofer fits just nice.
There are cheaper units such as SSL, Boss, Soundstorm and more expensive ones like Apline, JBL.
If you have space to put a sub in the truck or have high seats, get a 10-inch. If you want a powered woofer, go hunt down the excellent Infinity Basslink. Don't complain about this woofer....lol.

Packs a nice punch for its size.

The speaker itself seems like it wouldn't make enough sound to even be noticeable, but once you find the right settings for your cabin, it should put a smile on your face from how much better your stereo sounds.
Everything is included to hook up to a stock head unit, but if you have an aftermarket unit with a sub out then I suggest getting a good lengthy RCA stereo cable.
All in all, I have no complaints since this is about the price of a nicer amp alone, so i got another, just for better separation.
