We used these lights above our cabinets in our kitchen and loved them. After 3 months of turning them on at night they stopped working. We checked our fuses and tried plugging them into other outlets but no luck. We had bought 2 strings so that we could string them together. I switched out all the power cords incase maybe that was faulty but neither work. Disappointed.

Disappointing quality...

I like making various projects (electronics and stuff, think: maker ;) ), but I bought those for a quick decorative application, since it comes with power supply and remote, and I expected it to just work out of the box. Unfortunately, the quality is very disappointing. They heat up a lot, and I'm not sure the power supply can be trusted... I wouldn't leave them turned on without supervision. To add to that, the remote never worked - I tried replacing batteries (and I checked that they're good), but it just won't work. Of course it's all glued together and not serviceable. Fortunately, looks like this product shares some IR codes with Xbox One remote (not gamepad, but the official remote that can be purchased separately) ;)

Updated review, great customer service, I love a company that stands by its product!! The only reason for four stars and not five is the fact I haven't had the replacement set long enough to see if I'll have the same problem. I would feel safe ordering these lights again for the simple fact that the customer service is great.
I really like the lights, when they work. I am on my second set now and have had the same problem with both sets. After several months of use, the lights go haywire, randomly blinking and displaying different colors across the strip. I have ordered the waterproof strip both times and I can only assume that water has penetrated somewhere. The problem only gets worse over time, to the point of throwing them away and buying new ones. I have them on the underside of an RV awning so they do get wet sometimes.

Make sure that you test the lights ahead of time and especially make sure that you have a male and female connection ends. I had to return 2 of 8 ordered because they had no male connectors.

Robust lighting options, fade, constant, and programmable lighting available.
Good Customer Service, The returns I made were handled quickly and without issue
Cons:
Cheap
Factory issues like missing the necessary connectors
Weak lines that can cause power interruption
The tape backing is practically useless
I would recommend these for fun projects but not use them for anything important.

Nice and bright. There is a slight inconsistency between the beginning and the end of the led strip but it is barely noticeable. After a few days of use, I have noticed that two small LEDs remain on even after turning off with the remote. They will only fully turn off if unplugged from outlet.
Also, the adhesive tape that is on the back does not stick.
But I guess you get what you paid for. Nevertheless, overall I am satisfied.
