Finally got it put up. So far I'm just using it as a base scanner antenna. Crystal clear reception now. Mounted on to of 1-1/4" copper pipe off of the corner of my car port approx 21' tall.
Discones No Gain, VERY Broadband!

Finally got it up! performs great on 2M, I suspect the coil may 'Appear' as a 5/8 on 2M.
Radiates OK on 10M 1MHz b/w @ 2:1VSWR, nothing on 6M but hears ok there.
Good Discone(UnityGain, OMNI 1.5:1 remember!)TX performance on 2M-1.2GHz and 2.4GHZ WiFi got almost 1mile!
Time will tell... My Olde Radio-Shack one flashed over after 25 years.

A very good antenna for my uses (satellite imagery, ADSB reception, normal HAM VOR, and other things.) Way better than my previous antennas.

Antennna is functional, but required some silver solder at all radials...they break off easily!
