This flour has a good flavor, especially when I mix in some tigernut flour, but it absolutely refuses to rise in my bread machine. I've had other flours rise, so I know it's not my machine, but I'm going to have to play around with recipes a bit more. Makes GREAT flatbread, but that's not really what I'm going for...

The only thing but flours in this mix is xantham gum. Each tried and true recipe I made using this flour had to be thrown in the trash. That ingredient must be the problem, as I've used different flours over the years for these recipes. It was always a gummy mess that eventually crisped on the outside, but remained soggy on the inside after way exceeding the normal cooking time! EEEEEK! Very disappointed, as I'd used this brand's brownie mix before and had no problems with it.

This GF flour is truly amazing! When we went GF one of the things my family missed the most was biscuits. It's our Sunday morning tradition. I have tried many many recipes that turned out gross. Some taste like baking soda, or worse. I tried the Bisquick GF flour blend. It tasted okay but the label said that it was GMO. Gross!! I was so glad to find this! I used it to make my son's birthday cake last week: DELICIOUS! And the true test, my whole family said the biscuits I made with this in Sunday were THE BEST!

I love this flour as a replacement for all flour in recipes. I've been gluten-free for 4 years and I used to love to bake but stopped because of how complicated it became with all the non-wheat flours with their different textures. This one is smooth - not gritty. This flour can be used with any recipe and does great. I'm soon to try it with my homemade bread recipes. Hope it works as well with breads as it has with all other baked goods I've made with it.

Made Angel Biscuits with this and it is way too heavy for that recipe. They tasted good but very dense and took forever to cook. This would be good for brownies.
