The king I purchased I believe is a soft which is what I wanted. It actually is a tiny bit firmer than a soft now and will soften I know over a few weeks.
But it is quite nice.

These pillows are synonymous with soft yet firm and good sleep. The queen size is even great on our daughter's full bed. Unlike smaller pillows, they fill out the pillowcase nicely while still being AMAZING to sleep on. These are the only pillows I will buy now, and I've tried many from Bloomingdale's, Garnet Hill, The Company Store, etc.

I got two of these...... My old ones had become very sad and flat.. I love these. They are thick and they hold it. I am mostly a side sleeper but can wake up in any position. I am good with any sleeping position on these but they probably won't work for flat pillow lovers at all....... but I am really happy!

When I opened the box and pulled out the pillows (I got two) they felt very light and I'll be honest that I didn't think I would like them. My current down pillows are very full, and much thicker, but they also compact and I have to adjust them through the night. These don't compact at all and provide perfect support for a side sleeper! I'm actually amazed at how much I like them because they felt light, and I thought they felt like a cheap pillow like I see at department stores. I only unpacked one, thinking I might return the second one because they're expensive and I didn't expect to like them, but I was definitely wrong! Love them! Whether a side or back sleeper, these offer that soft downy support I like in a pillow, but what I can only explain as this odd firmness that doesn't shift and compact like normal down pillows. Soft, yet supportive!
