Bought this for our four year old autistic son who chews constantly. The blue has held up much better than the greens did! We're getting more than a month's use out of each before it has to be 'trimmed down' due to pieces falling off, and this one in particular has lasted almost three months. It does get changed out frequently with the lego brick and dog-tag style one, but I think he likes the shape of this one in particular right now. We will absolutely be buying more when these wear out!

I have purchased three for my son. The first two broke at the top which totally sucks, but these are the only necklaces that keep him from chewing and ruining his shirt. We love them, but I wish they didn't break after a couple months!!

Got the blue XX Tough for my autistic son, or else he will chew skin off his fingers. This one holds up well. I only replace it when he loses them. He hasn't chewed through them. Also fits on a shoelace if you don't like the quick release clasp.

My 8 year old ADHD and SPD child loves his krypto bites. He gets high anxiety in loud places, or when he has to write (underdeveloped fine motor skills). These necklaces have been a life saver for him. What's really cool is that his friends thought it was cool so their moms got on here and bought them one also! Now it's "normal" for him to wear his chew necklace. Love it!

If you have an autistic child as we do; no matter the level of functionality, luckily ours is extremely high functioning (aspie) this can give them something other than their clothes to chew on. Our son desperately wanted to stop chewing his shirts but no matter what we or his counselors tried, he just couldn't stop.These XXT pendants put up with all he can give them and he is an aggressive chewer! We've got 4 or 5 now so he's never without. I just wish they would offer more colors in each strength. My wife stumbled across these and the counselors didn't even know about them. We forwarded all the company info to his treatment center. Such a simple item has made a HUGE difference in our son's life.
