Ok, except for direct sunlight

For the price, it's a good weather station. In the direct sunlight it does not read the temperature accurately. It has a solar fan, but it is not enough to offset the heat buildup. We have two displays synced to one sensor unit. Display has a power cord, but we run ours off of just batteries. Not as bright, but still readable.

This display is much easier to read than the display that came with our 5-in-1 Weather Station. It is brighter and can be viewed from different angles. It is quite bright, and was actually too bright for our bedroom. We liked it much better than the one we had, and so we bought this same unit in the dark mode. We put the dark one in the bedroom and moved this brighter unit to our family room. The only disappointment is that we have the lightning detector add-on, and this display does not show the lightning strikes.

A very nice-looking Acurite display that has a battery backup, but is almost impossible to read from underneath; it is very clear at eye level or slightly above. Works well with the 5-in-1 sensor.
The PC Connect feature only works as long as your PC is powered on, and you have the PC Connect software installed on your PC.
Update, 3-20-17: Works great, except the barometric pressure reading on my display is 0.2 less than what MyAcurite is reporting.
