Cuts through travertine like a hot knife through butter. Keep the circular blade wet and it will last a long while.

Exactly what i needed to cut hole in tile when installing shower valve. Would recommend getting a spare 2x4 or 2 and hole saw size to match this bit size. Use the hole to keep the bit steady, keep wet and work the pressure or cut around. Enjoy!

Use it to cut through 3/4" white marble for drain pipes for the stand alone tub and vanity sinks. I also bought the guide to help keep it in place and a garden hose on a trickle.
Drills a larger hole than advertised but it will get the job done

Bottom line hit cut a hole that was 2 5/8 inches.
So here's the review I cut three holes and my glass. The glass is a half inch thick. I didn't have any problems with the drill bit drilling those three holes other than the holes turned out 2/8 of an inch bigger than they were supposed to. The best advice I found online for drilling glass was 1. Set your cordless drill to stall at the very easiest setting which is the number one position so you can stop the bit from turning even at full speed with just your hand
2. Drill a hole through wood with a wood hole saw to use as a guide to get the grinding started.
3. Use the least amount of pressure possible as the bit breaks through the back side of the glass.
This was the first time I've ever drilled glass. I would not buy this drill bit again just because the bit drill the hole that was bigger than it said it would drill. Again it did not drill a 2 1/2 inch hole it drilled a 2 5/8ths hole
