This is a great cutter

Used it to cut holes in a set of home made cornhole boards. I know regulation is 6", but 6 1/4 is just fine to me. It is very sharp and cut 3/4" ply like butter. Very pleased with the end result. No burring/chipping at all. Paint came right off, but thats to be expected.
Worked Great

This hole saw cut through plaster and sheetrock like it was butter, fast and accurate. It did spin out a lot of dust pretty far and you have to be careful with potential for serious kick back. Nothing though that would stop me from highly recommending this hole saw.
Economical hole saw for 6 inch recessed lights
David Ray ✓ Verified Purchase•September 18, 2023
I had just ordered a case of 6 inch LED recessed lights, so when the Cortool hole saw popped up, I ordered one. When I previously installed 6 inch cans, I had used a rotary tool with a shop vac nozzle attached to the bit guard. This hole saw seems to be a better solution, even at the slow feed speeds needed for drywall, which is abrasive by nature. I was puzzled by the spring around the pilot bit, but quickly understood the purpose. I have used smaller hole saws without a spring mechanism, and the waste material is frequently wedged into the saw, slowing the workflow. The spring pushes the waste material disk out of the saw as soon as the tool is pulled away. If I encounter rapid dulling of the saw with appropriate application, this review will be revised. Until then 5 stars, based on design and precise manufacturing.
This is a must have if you are installing recessed lights.

I needed a hole saw for just one cut and have been pricing them and was pretty discouraged. I really didn't want to spend $30-40 or more and was trying to decide if I could manage it with a jigsaw. This did the job with ease and this is priced a lot less than any I could find and then was going to have to spend as much for the Arbor as well. Happy with the results.
