Good for light duty, but you'll likely need a plug-in drill

For this price, you're not getting a precision tool. It's about the quality I'd expect from Harbor Freight--where you should never buy something that plugs into an outlet.
I needed to cut into some ~1/8" thick plywood backerboard on an entertainment center. My 12v makita battery-powered drill just wouldn't make the cut. But my plug-in variable speed drill did the trick. The cutters aren't great, but they work on non-precision, low demand cuts. I would be very surprised if you could cut through a 2" board.
I'd buy again, but only for the limited use cases relevant to this lower quality and lower price.

This cuts well and quickly. I use it to make flat lap backing plates out of wood and acrylic. It is sharp and cuts a nice round disk (or a nice round hole if you rather. There are not directions included so be aware that you need to figure it out on your own (if you have ever used a hole saw,then you pretty much got it). I use it with a drill press but this would work just as well with a handheld. Make sure to work slowly to avoid excess heat buildup. I also use a little soap on the blade to allow it to cut a little easier. Overall a handy large hole saw.

I used these to cut multiple holes through OSB and plywood. The hole saws worked the best in the plywood. In the OSB, there was lots of smoke coming out as the saw was turning. It looked as if I didn't stop the saw, the OSB would have caught fire from the heat of the rotating saw. So I just stopped the saw many times as I made my way through the whole board to keep the smoke to a minimum.
Overall there is a perfect variety of saw sizes and are easy to use. These hole saws do a great job at what they're supposed to do and are a great value.

If you're looking for an affordable set of hole saws for woodworking at home - this one is working pretty good for me so far. No complaints on my end at all.
If your intent is to buy something that's going to be in use at a shop with a lot of regular use per day - then I suspect you might want to invest in a jigsaw or even just a more heavy duty kit (you'll see some listed for $60+). The blades don't seem strong enough to withstand a heavy amount of use, but I wouldn't expect that at the price point.
