Used for a couple of speaker holes. Cut right through 3/4" plywood. It was a bit of a strain on my old cordless drill. It still left a clean cut. Far better than trying to cut with a jigsaw.
Works great but be careful.

I needed this to make 1 hole for a bathroom vent and it did the job with ease. It made a perfectly clean hole. However, be careful!!! The arbor only screws on and does not lock on with pins. I found this out the hard way.
First thing I did was put it in my drill and gave it a good spin, and when I let off the trigger my cordless drill comes to a dead stop very quickly like almost all cordless drills do. Well"¦ because it stopped so fast it unscrewed from the arbor and had the large 6" bit launch itself right off the drill. Natural instinct had me try and grab the tool flying around. I would urge you to not do this lol. Luckily this thing was dull enough to not completely slice into my hand. No stitches this time but I don't think I'll ever buy a hole saw without a locking arbor ever again. Save your fingers and get a locking one.
