he doesn't like using a cart in the house

We have a dog that his back legs are paralyzed, he doesn't like using a cart in the house. Nothing we used before this held the diaper in place as he scooted across the floor.

The first one we got worked so great we ordered a spare. He can move all over and the diaper doesn't shift. Rolling on the floor and playing with our 2 dogs no problem.

We love it!!!
Front-end loading works great!

My beagle has fatty lipomas in front of each hind leg. The ML Snuggly I ordered for her arrived today and is way too tight in that particular area, so I've ordered a LS I hope will fit more comfortably. Because of the tight fit I wasn't able to try it with the diapers I intend to use, but I wanted to write this review because I was very impressed with the design and quality. Although some previous reviews and comments indicated that leg holes were unfinished, mine were finished. I gave it 5 stars because I found it much easier to put on my dog than other diaper covers/keepers I've tried. My dog is used to a harness going over her head, which is how this goes on, and rather than a 15 minute struggle of chasing her rear end around as she squirms away, she was dressed in the snuggly within seconds. Although I may not actually be able to use it because of my dog's particular shape, think it's a great product at a reasonable price. THANKS!
Great concept, terrible quality.

It is a great idea and design but the fabric used is really low quality. My 11lb pomeranian has been wearing this for three days totaling 22-24 hours and the fabric is already tearing where the seams come together. It isn't too tight, either; fits just right but the way they cut the thin fabric without reinforcing the edges is already causing it to fall apart.

Like I said, great concept and design, but certainly not worth $30+ for this crummy material. It gets the job done but I'm very disappointed in the lack of quality for the price.
Saves my house - Ruins my wallet

I have two males dogs who were 100% house trained, but once I had kids our younger one became territorial an started marking their toys. I spent loads of money trying new and different products that actually prevent my sneaky little man from ruining their toys and my floor. I've bought every male wrap available at my local pet stores and tried speciality items online- he's been able to get them all either totally enough, or wiggle around enough so he can get his man parts out and still pee on things. This is the ONLY item that has been successful with holding his diaper in place no matter how much he wiggles on his back to get it off. He keeps the item on 100% of the time and for the most part he is rather comfortable in it and doesn't even know it is on. My ONLY issues (which is a big one) is how cheaply it is made. We have had it for only a month and it already has a huge hole on it.

Will I buy another one? Yes - because it is the only thing I have found that works well and saves me from buying new toys and damaging my floors.

Am I happy about buying a new one? No - because they are not cheap and I feel that it should last longer then a few weeks.
Used to be a great product with room for improvement, now just needing improvement.

The Surgi Snuggly is a pretty much amazing product. I have loved having it because it's very easy to use and my dog doesn't seem to mind it at all. My boxer is used to wearing dog hoodies throughout the winter since she has such short fur and we used to live in Colorado. She has always been quite comfortable with dog shirts and sweaters. The only difference between this item and her shirt is that this closes at the back to keep a diaper up.

My dog tends to have "accidents" in carpeted areas and we just recently moved back into an apartment full of carpet. While she's fully house trained, I don't want to give her the opportunity to pee inside and get the scent stuck in the carpet for her to want to keep coming back to. In the previous apartment, once she had peed in the hallway carpet a few times, it seemed like she no longer cared about trying to hold it for 3-4 hours and would just squat whenever she felt like it. I would shampoo the carpets WEEKLY because of her habit. All of that description is to point out that she is NOT using this for post-surgery and it isn't even necessary to hold up a diaper - she just needs SOMETHING there that will be wet if she squats to keep her from going.

I've used this every single day for 2 months now. I will take it off of her during the day if I'm home on weekends but it must be on her if I'm leaving the house or overnight. I have used diapers with it but, as I state above, she doesn't really require the actual diaper to discourage the squats, so I've stopped using them. One thing to note - I ordered a large based on the size charge and it seemed a tad big from the very first time I put it on her. I had to tie knots in the straps to shorten them enough to use. After a few days, the suit started to stretch out more and more. It's still quite usable, but there are just more knots tied in the suit to keep it to where the tail-hole isn't too low (she has a nub). I have washed it a few time and put it in the dryer to try to shrink it a bit. This SLIGHTLY helps for a day or so, but it is certainly not enough to make much of a difference.
I've noticed that with the daily use, this product has a tendency to rub lines on her inner back legs where the straps are pulled under to secure over her back. I'm not sure if it's simply that she doesn't have any fur there and it causes rubbing. It could also be that I've had to tie the knots and they cause irritation. It's not terrible, just obvious red lines. It's possible that buying the "right" size (for my dog, not based upon the chart), this issue would be reduced.
In my opinion, the biggest issue with the suit is the quality. This is somewhat of a double edged sword for me, unfortunately. I live in TX, so the summer is HOT. I let my apartment stay relatively warm, so I like that this is such a thin t-shirt material to keep her from overheating as bad. Because of the super thin material and their lack of finishing the edge for the front leg holes, this material has stretched and torn open at the leg holes. This isn't a HUGE issues, other than making for a kind of funky looking front and, eventually, leading to the suit needing to be replaced.

I would still recommend this to anyone looking for a diaper keeper or just a body suit with the hind-end closure. There is a competitor with a similar concept on this website, but I'm not sure that the issues with this product are enough to make me want to go for another brand vs. replacing this suit with a smaller replica.

UPDATE:
The company seems to have taken the unfinished seams comment into consideration and completely redesigned the product. This includes a new material and different cut pattern, including sewing off the seams for the arm holes. I now sincerely regret asking for this as I now cannot stand this product. I had originally given this 4 stars, now I cannot give more than 2. :(
The new material is more like the moisture wicking material used for under armour or athletic clothing. I thought this would be great, but it now "travels" down her body with any movement. By this, I mean that it starts out at a reasonable tightness at the front, but within a few movements, it is tight in the front and the suit has moved down her body. This would be fine if the finished seams didn't cut her legs. The main issue with the suit, partially due to the suit shifting, is that the seams around the front leg holes now rub her arms and cause super angry red cuts. Which, since it's her front legs, she has plenty of access to lick obsessively and make even worse. I try to pull the suit to be loose in the front and it immediately shifts to be too tight in the front. I have tried simply tying the leg holes wider open to reduce the rubbing, but the material is so easily shifting that the ties just move right along with the suit and tightened right around her legs once again.

I purchased the correct size by measurements, a LS, and immediately sent that one back. I loved this product so I wanted to try once more but now I've purchased an XLL and still have the same problems. I will have to send this back and begin the search for a new product that doesn't hurt my dog.

Another thing that really irks me is that I get my brand new suit and the directions tell me that I need to cut a "v" in the back straps to make them long enough. That is ridiculous. I bought an XLL (a size too large and she should actually be using a short suit, based upon her measurements) and now I need to cut the suit to fit. WHAT? The suits finished seams are made useless by this, why is it standard to have short little stumpy straps for an XLL suit?

I will say that the company appears to care, though the solution isn't overly amazing for my situation. They email to see how I am liking the product and offer to resolve any concerns through that email address. I did send in this description of my issues with the new design and she got back to me in a few days. I just cannot justify keeping a relatively expensive product that constantly hurts my dog.
