Mostly love these diapers

First of all, I am SO happy to be able to order a whole package of the black color! It is great not to call attention to the fact that our old girlie has wetting problems. I also really like the soft fabric in the diaper. The one drawback I have found is that they aren't absorbent enough to keep her bed dry during the night ( and sometimes during the day).
We have just started using these during the daytime, as she has had a few leaking accidents, and although she gets many trips outside, sometimes accidents happen. If we were to leave her on her own for a few hours, I don't think this diaper would be absorbent enough to keep wet spots from happening on the rug.
So....if you could only re-design these diapers with a much more absorbent pad inside, they would be more than stupendous!

In terms of washability and ease of putting on, these worked well for our older rat terrier of 17 years. We also liked that they were black for our black and white dog; gave her more dignity than bright purple! The only issue for her was she has bulging disks in her spine and the extra material of the diaper around her legs made it difficult for her to stand; she could stand on her own but she didn't think she could or didn't want to so we were unable to really use them as we'd have to stand her up before she would walk on her own. I think she just could not get used to them. She does not have trouble with urinating but sometimes is surprised by needing to poop. Additionally, she has some issues with a messy bottom which sometimes gets on the floor even though we clean her up before she comes in. Because of this, we have decided to try just some kids underwear on her to see if that is more form fitting and less uncomfortable for her body type. The reason for the 4 stars is I don't believe there is anything wrong with the product, I think we just have a dog who didn't do well with this type of garment on.

Ordered for my 55 lb pound puppy who went into heat 2 weeks before her spay appointment. I did not want to spend a lot, but needed something that would hold up to the activity of a 5 (or 6) month old puppy. This product has been great. After a week it has not leaked and the lining has not shifted despite constant washing and drying. I am not using an additional disposable pad, and the way she runs around I don't think a pad would help much. The outside layer is breathable but water proof, and the inside pad holds moisture away from her. I've been hand washing and either hanging dry, takes about 12 hours in high humidity, or tossing in the drier. My puppy spent about one minute trying to get it off, then accepted it, and in fact doesn't really seem to notice it most of the time.
Reason for the 4 rather than 5 is that the seam on one has started to unravel, but it's an easy fix. Also, I have added additional Velcro to the straps so that there's connection on the entire top/back strip. With a 23" waist, the large fits but she is on the slim side for it, leaving a gap between the vecro on the bottom straps and the edge of the top strap. Again, it's a small adjustment.

Works as expected but dogs keep getting out of it

Bought size Medium for my 2 21-lb female corgi puppies that just went into heat. They appear to fit well but the dogs can get out of them in mere minutes. When they do stay on, the diapers work well enough (no leaks). I have only tried hand washing so far, and diapers are relatively easy to wash clean with some pre-treating and rubbing. The liner is thick and didn't bunch up anywhere when I was washing/rubbing/bunching it. The puppies are mostly black, and I thought the black diapers looked nice and subtle; I didn't want a colorful diaper that would stand out. Velcro doesn't stick to their fur. Will continue to try to use it on the pups, and hope that they will eventually stop taking it off.

We have an almost 16 year old Brittany Spaniel he is almost blind and hard of hearing who is a member of our famil. We were looking for a solution to the problem that if he needs to poop he does it if we are home we can let him out in time but if we were gone he would do it on the floor and inevitably walk in it and spread it all over and we would come home to a mess. We have found the solution! These washable dog diapers are perfect - they are very easy to get on him (he wears a large) and fit him well. He has a cropped tail so we do not use the tail hole and they still work well. And they must be comfortable because he does not even mind having them on.
