Easy to set up and sturdy.

As a beginner camper, I bought this tent because I felt like it was a good middle ground between getting a good quality tent for two and while being affordable. I used this on a three day camping trip in Florida and it worked like a charm. I was nice and snug in my tent, the footprint and tent design ensures that no dirt and bugs get inside. This tent fits two people comfortably but it can also fit a third person, though it may get a little tight. Setup is also pretty easy; I had to sit there and practice it one time in my backyard and after that it just became muscle memory super fast. All in all, great tent for anybody, especially beginners looking to set foot in the hiking scene.

This tent is fantastic! First time out it held up great to 30+ mph winds at Lake Mead. There's a lot of room inside compared to other backpacking tents. Set up is easy, especially with the color coded poles and tent/fly.

It is a lovely tent BUT it is a little difficult to set up.

Exactly a described.I'm not a backpacker so weight was not a concern. It will be packed in a dry bag. Dome 2 has great quality materials and construction, adequate floor space and height, easy set-up for a 'mature' woman. Lol! Just what I needed to replace a 20 year old North Face.
