Nice little motion detector for my usage

Nice little motion detector for my usage. Now I have this above my garage man door about 5 feet. It projects out 15feet away I have it angled I know if anyone or thing (critter), is by my back door. The receiver is I would say 100ft away inside so no problem with that. I do like the led blue light it does grab your attention.Now would i use this in a busy area probably not but for a single home use to identify if something is moving in a blind area this is just fine for that. Plus the price is very competitive.
Works well for low traffic area

Works well at entry doorway of a low traffic retail store: It is mounted on the ceiling above the entry doorway which is about 6' wide. It reliably sounds when people enter the store. The remote speaker works well, but is a bit on the loud side. This has been in operation for about two months now.
(FWIW, when it arrived and I was testing it at home, I put the sensor/transmitter in the back of a large, conventional mailbox to see if it would alert me when the mailbox was opened. The bell/receiver was in the house. It also worked well for this application. YMMV based on the distance between the mailbox and receiver.)

Stopped working after 4 months

Completely stopped working one day. Changed batteries in both parts, lights work but no chimes Didn't even get 5 months use out of it. If someone from the company can contact me with any ideas on how to fix this it would be of great help

Works well! We needed an alert so a care giver could be alerted the papa had woken up and was starting to wander. Yesterday he had fallen so this device is a life saver. As other reviewers have said the alert tune selection needs the be reset after a powe down, we just leave it on. 'Fur Elise' is getting a work out.

Works great and very easy to set up. However, I can't find a regular one or two ding sound among the large selection. I just needed it to know when my cats are walking in and out of my apartment. The three tone dings is too much dinging for constant use.
