This disposal cleaner works like a charm. Gets rid of the nasty smell & cleans well. I know it's doing a great job cleaning because I can see the blue foam in both my sink drains during usage. I let the blue foam sit in the sink drains for 5 or 10 minutes before rinsing it. I just prefer to do that because I feel it makes the cleaner more effective. After doing so I just rinse the sink & disposal with fresh hot water & everything (including my stainless steel sink) looks & smells great!! I highly recommend it & will continue to use & buy as needed!!☆☆☆☆☆

Well.. it's ok. I don't think it worked any better than what I used to do .. a 1/2 cup of baking soda and dollop of vinegar. It worked better when I let it sit and foam more .. turn on the disposal for a little bit .. get the foam going .. turn off for a little bit .. repeat,. The directions say to just turn on disposal and go until all gone, but I did not find this very effective.

The Glisten Disposed Care is very easy and quick to use: takes less then 5 minutes to use. Just follow the instructions on the package. You first run a hot steam of water directly into the disposal for 1 minute, then reduce to a hot water stream redirected into the sink; do not open the pack but stuff it unopened in the disposal.Then turn on the disposal and the drain will foam up until it disperses down the drain. Takes between 1-1/2 to 2 minutes. Turn off the disposal after the blue foam is all gone and it sounds clear. That's it. Make sure you don't have dishes or utensils in the sink as it can sometimes really vibrate a lot, but this is normal. Also make sure to keep the trickle of hot water directed away from the disposal when it's on or it will splatter a lot - they warn you about not getting this on you and keeping away from any pets or children. (Has Malic Acid and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate which may require medical attention if this stuff splatters into your eye!) Really seems to clean well. I've been using this product for about a few years and have been happy with the results.

These are the only disposal cleaners that I use.

After trying these once and after no longer finding them in my local store, I tried several other variations of disposal cleaners. Needless to say the other products did not have the same impact.

The great thing about these cleaners is that you know its working. As soon as you turn the disposal on you see the foam expanding. Other products seemed to last a few seconds, with this one there is 30 seconds of foam action.

As an aside, be sure to clean under the black flap to get a between clean, usually an old toothbrush does the job.

I normally really love this product but I received what I believe to be old product. It must have come from a bulk supply b/c it arrived in a ziploc baggie w/ paper directions. The product was hard as a rock and did not foam. I tried beating the packets on the counter top to break them up but it did not work. I had to trash them.
