CAUTION:

CAUTION: These are VERY addictive!! I have now ordered and installed more than 6 sets of these in various locations around the house and work. Anywhere and everywhere there is a dark corner or an area that needs a little more lighting or accent lighting. Under kitchen cabinets (top and bottom), inside built ins, entertainment cabinet, around bathroom mirrors (wife LOVED this!!!), in my workshop and, one of my favorites, underneath my bed and behind the headboard as accent lights ( really sets the mood nicely). I'm plotting on several other places to install some of these lights.
They're so easy to install! Simply peel and stick wherever you need more light. Make sure the connectors are firmly in place or you could see some flickering. Try not to fiddle too much inserting the tape into the connector so as not to bend the ends too much which I have found causes loose connections and becomes increasingly difficult to reinsert if you need to adjust it. If you can make the connection on the first or second try is best since it is flimsy but if you mess it up too bad simply cut that section off and try again. Do try and leave just enough of the backing of the tape on so that insertion into the connector is possible and it does give the flimsy tape some strength. I recommend buying several different types and configurations of tape connectors (i.e. L-connectors for corners & connectors with wires), and different types of wire connectors and splices including adapters for wires to power plugs both male and female. When I get more time (hopefully soon) I will update with some links for various accessories and connectors I have found, through trial and error, to be helpful and more functional than others.
Overall I highly recommend these lights! I honestly cannot imagine my life without them anymore and wouldn't go back to a time before them.

BRIGHT and cheap

This makes the third order of these that I've placed. I bought them to add some lighting to my walk in closet that I'm building. The color of these is definitely daylight white and looks brilliant. I would say it's in the 4000k range. The LEDs are SMD 2835 which are brighter and more efficient than most other LEDs out there.
The picture I've uploaded is just one strip slapped on top of my cabinets. I'll try to remember to come back and post more pictures once all of the lights are put up. If I ever need more LED strips in the future, I'll be back for more of these.

illumination wise this is a great product as the intensity is very good

4/15/17 UPDATE
The way I set these LEDs up was to have double strips under my cabinets. As I initially said, illumination was great... but not for long. 5 days after I installed them, the last two strips attached to my circuit are dim now. Tha intensity is now reduced and one can notice that. I haven't done all the kitchen, as we moved just recently and have a lot of other stuff to do which is more important, just gave these a try because I was curious. Well, curiosity killed the cat and I'm not happy withthese lights. They work ok but not to what I expected.
---------------------
Well, illumination wise this is a great product as the intensity is very good. I don't know if they'll live to the 5,000 hours they supposedly go for, but I don't see why not.
The reason why I didn't rate them with 5 stars is because the adhesive on them is not as strong as you would want it to be. I had to use some jumper wires to get through the cabinets and even if the weight of the jumpers isn't heavy, that was enough dor it to start detaching from the cabinet. I'm sure eventually I will need to do something when they start coming down by themselves.

LIGHT UP ALL THE THINGS!

Love these lights. Cheap and bright. Put up a whole spool for under cabinet lighting. Works very nice! I am looking for more places to put them much to my wife's dismay. Make sure to get a power supply of some sort to power these as nothing comes in the box (12V DC). The lights are also dimmable which is a plus until you go looking for a DC only wall dimmer switch.
I bought a can of 3M Super 77 multipurpose spray adhesive as the stuff on the back of the is useless.

When our house was built we should have had lights installed in all the closets ... but we didn't. After a recent remodel of our daughter's room I placed some LED strip lights (different brand) in her closet along with a magnetic switch to cut them off and on as the door opens, I knew that was what I wanted to do in some of the other closets. I bought these to do another closet which hold wrapping paper and photo albums and all sorts of random stuff that we need to access periodically and which can be a pain to find without proper light.
A bit of soldering to wire it up to the power supply (I chose not to use the adapters that came with the lights, but certainly appreciate that I had them!) and to create a few T's for extra runs down the walls and they were done! As far as soldering, these were much easier to deal with than the waterproof versions I used on the previous project because there was no coating that had to be removed first. While I still chose to use staples to secure them to the walls, the adhesive backing on these was also much better than the waterproof ones of another brand. The lights are bright and uniform in color (even across two rolls ... which isn't always the case). They've been up for a few months now with no failures though they aren't on all that much.
The reason I deducted 1 star is that throughout both rolls I purchased, there were several places where the adhesive backing seemed to be a tiny bit smaller / shorter than the actual LED strip. The result is a few random wrinkles where it bunches up a bit. It really isn't terrible and, at least for my application, isn't seen, but it also keeps them from being 5-star-worthy in my opinion.
Overall, great product and price. I'd buy them again ... and probably will when I get ready to tackle that coat closet in our foyer (I HATE climbing through the attic to run wire)!
