I have been researching ironing boards for several months. When I received a new Oliso Pro itouch iron for Christmas, I knew that my many-years-old ironing board would not be compatible. I went back to my research notes and typed the brands and sizes into my search engine. With every new search, the Bartnelli 51x19-inch Multi layered T-Leg Extra Wide ironing board came up. It was not in my notes! But the more I read, the more I knew this was the perfect board for me.
This Bartnelli ironing board is super sturdy. It is really wide. And it has perfect height level adjustments. I placed the order, received the product in under 48 hours, and was quilting by noon! I've since used this board every day and have completed two quilts. The difference between this ironing board and a standard board are beyond comparison. This product acheives five stars âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ in every single category. I recommend the Bartnelli 51x19-inch ironing board to any sewist, quilter, or tailor. It has truly exceeded all expectations.
Added observation: I spend hours daily in my sewing room. Fabric, textures and colors speak to me. Therefore, I knew that the ironing board cover would not suit my decor. So I removed the cover and the string tie. I used the original cover as a pattern to cut out my preferred fabic. I then created a binding for the pattern, sandwiched that with batting, ran the string through it and created a beautiful, stylish, match my astetic cover. The moral of the story is, do not let the cover deter you from this product. In under an hour you can easily make something that pleases you and your style. Total cost for homemade ironing board cover was $12. Easy-peasy.

Ironing boards seem like they should be cheap but you will get what you pay for. This one is sturdy as hell. Rack on the back is super convient for hanging clothes completed and stashing iron off the pad.

It is HUGE. Arrived promptly. Impeccable packaging. Sturdy. Will last for the rest of my Sixty plus years. Now, IRON is a four letter word for me, but due to the features on this board, I will be ironing with a fox and in front of the TV box. I can iron here, there or any where.
